Ideal for large vehicles like RVs and commercial trucks, Brandmotion's AHDS-7810v2 wireless video system includes a 7" universal HD monitor to mount on your dash and one weather-proof, universal wireless camera which provides an HD-quality 120° view. Use the included cam as a rear-view camera or make it part of a larger wireless video system. The included monitor allows you to incorporate a total up to four optional, wireless Brandmotion cams.

DVR capability

With video storage up to 128 GB, the Brandmotion monitor automatically records and saves any video captured by a connected camera. That's handy on the road and when you're parked.

Important Note: The camera in this package is only compatible with the included monitor. It will not work with car stereo receivers or other monitors.

Overview: The Brandmotion AHDS-7810v2 Wireless Observation Camera System offers invaluable assistance for backing up campers and long trailers. The wireless camera system includes a rear-mounted IR camera, mounting hardware, a 7" color TFT LCD monitor, and monitor mounting hardware.

Wireless Camera: The AHDS-7810v2 kit includes a heavy-duty camera equipped with infrared technology. The camera is housed in a durable, waterproof and shock-resistant aluminum alloy shell that includes a built-in tiltable bracket. The camera carries an IP68 weather-proof rating. During daytime operation, the cameras display a crystal clear color image, and in low-light conditions, will automatically activate the built-in IR LEDs for a black and white image. The camera offers a wide 110°(h) x 80°(v) field of view, and can be swiveled up and down with approximately 50° of travel.

Note: Installation of the AHDS-7810v2 camera requires drilling into the outer body of the vehicle or trailer.

Wireless Display: The AHDS-7810v2 kit includes a wireless 7" color TFT LCD monitor. Two mounting brackets that can be tilted or swiveled are provided, one with a suction cup mount and the other with an adhesive base. The monitor can be wirelessly connected to up to 4 Brandmotion wireless cameras (1 camera included, additional cameras sold separately). Pairing buttons on the monitor and camera let you easily pair the wireless system when first connected to power. The camera system offers up to 80' of wireless camera connection.

Memory: The AHDS-7810v2 automatically records camera footage as you drive. Footage is saved to an optional SD card (sold separately). SD cards up to 128GB can be used.

Note: The AHDS-7810v2 features an SD memory card slot; any other type of memory card used must have an SD card adapter.

Power: The included camera features a 34" DC power cable along with a matching 57" DC cable terminated in a lighter/power socket adaper. A 3' DC-to-bare wire adapter lets you connect the monitor to the vehicle's electrical system. The 7" monitor features a 34" DC cable along with a matching 3' DC-to-bare wire adapter for powering the camera from the rear of the vehicle. The AHDS-7810v2 can operate on 12- or 24-volt electrical systems.

Can this monitor be installed some place other than the dashboard say in a cabinet in the RV? Can this system run off the RV batteries as opposed to the engine? Looking to use it more as a security system.

Greetings Cindy, and thank you for your questions. Both the camera and monitor run off 12 volts (vehicle battery). Honestly if the monitor is within 40 feet of the camera, you can put the monitor wherever you like.
