Overview: The Brandmotion FLTW-6000 Commercial Radar Blind Spot System uses radar proximity sensors to alert you of vehicles in your blind spot area while driving. The 2-sensor system is designed for use in commercial vehicles such as walk-in vans, box trucks, and other large vehicles that are equipped with metal bumpers. The sensors get mounted to the rear corners of the cab, facing rearward, providing alerts when other vehicles are approaching. The system will also alert you of nearby vehicles when changing lanes.

Waterproof: The Brandmotion FLTW-6000 carries an IP69 waterproof rating.

Alerts: The FLTW-6000 includes two HMI (Human-Machine Interface) LED indicators that can be mounted to the two front windshield pillars using the attached 3M adhesive backing. The HMIs will illuminate when the blind spot detection system detects an object in its range on that side of the vehicle. A buzzer module with three volume settings (Hi, Med, Lo) is included that can provide an audible alert when an object is detected. The buzzer can be mounted to a flat surface using the attached 3M adhesive backing.

• Blind Spot Detection: The Blind Spot Detection feature will work when you are traveling 18 mph or faster. It will also work when you are completely stopped and a vehicle is approaching you at 18 mph or greater speed. The blind spot detection system will only detect objects in the lanes to the left and right of you and not lanes further away. When an approaching vehicle is approximately 27 feet behind the radar sensor, the system will alert you by illuminating the HMI LED on that side of the vehicle. If you use the turn signal to switch lanes and a vehicle is approaching close to you, the HMI on that side will flash and the buzzer will give you an audible alert. The included Pink and Orange turn-signal trigger wires must be connected to the vehicle turn-signal wires for Blind Spot Detection to function.

Connections: The Brandmotion FLTW-6000 Commercial Radar Blind Spot System includes pre-configured wiring harnesses, that are housed in a protective cable sheath, and terminated in matched plugs for quick, easy connections. The wiring includes connections for the included Radar Sensors, Buzzer, and two HMI LED indicators. A 3 foot section of bare-ended wires will need to be connected into the vehicle electrical system:

• Red: +12V Switched power
• Black: Chassis ground
• Pink: Left turn-signal trigger
• Orange: Right turn-signal trigger
• Green & White: CAN H/L (not used)

Sensor Installation: The two included radar sensors are designed to mount on the outside of each cab corner, facing rearward. They can be mounted on either side of the vehicle and can be attached using the provided 3M adhesive backing. Mounting tabs on the sensor housing let you attach them with screws or bolts (not included).
