If you drive a commercial van or truck, Brandmotion's FullVUE FVMR-1155 replacement rear-view mirror system helps ensure a safer drive. Once the replacement mirror is installed, the included rear-view camera will provide an on-demand real-time HD view of what's behind you, so you can start using more than just your side-view mirrors. Plus, its built-in dash cam will record the road ahead.

Universal rear-view camera

Brandmotion's rugged rear-view camera gives you a 155-degree wide-angle view that ensures you have an expansive view as you negotiate lane-changing and more. You can either drill a hole and snap the bullet-mount camera into place, mount it under a 3rd brake light, or install it under some other protruding vehicle appendage.

A mirror and a dash cam

The FullVUE monitor makes a proper replacement mirror with auto-dimming for day and night driving. It also provides a full-screen 9.66" HD view of the included camera's video feed. A built-in shock sensor allows the camera to guard your vehicle when parked, going into record mode with an impact. Touchscreen control gives you access to Brandmotion's menus and built-in DVR.

Installation

Installation Note: Installation will require drilling a hole with a hole saw for the camera, plus running wire for power and video between the mirror and the camera. If you have not attempted this kind of job before, professional installation is recommended.

What type of mirror mount works with this mirror?

If you see this type of mirror mount through your windshield, this Brandmotion mirror should work in your vehicle.

Important Note: Look through your windshield to see if your factory mirror has a mount that looks like the one pictured here (and in the product photos above). If it does, you should be able to remove the old mirror and install your new mirror on the old mount. If it doesn't, you'll need a windshield mounting kit (Brandmotion part #5000-DTAB).

Overview: The Brandmotion FVMR-1155 FullVUE AHD Vision System features a replacement rear-view mirror/monitor with built-in front-facing camera, and a snap-in rear camera. The mirror/monitor replaces the factory rear-view mirror and provides a continual image of what's behind the vehicle via a rear-facing camera. A front-view camera, built into the mirror, is provided for recording the road ahead. The system features a built-in DVR that can record both camera views, and Parking Monitoring, which utilizes the front camera to monitor your vehicle while parked. The FVMR-1155 replacement mirror features a universal D-Tab wedge-equipped mirror stem.

Snap-In Rear Camera: The FVMR-1155 includes a rear-view camera for a continual view of your truck bed, cargo area, or the road behind you. The rear camera features an integrated snap-in mounting system that allows it to be installed in a third brake light enclosure, tailgate, or bumper. The rear camera offers a wide 155° horizontal and vertical field-of-view with no obstructions from headrests, passengers, luggage, etc., and a 1920x1080 (1080p) resolution view. The rear-view camera carries an IP67 waterproof rating.

Note: The FVMR-1155 rear camera will require drilling a 28mm (approximately 1.1") hole in the third brake light housing or vehicle body for mounting (hole-saw bit not included).

Mirror Display & Front Camera: The FVMR-1155 replacement mirror features a 9.66" LCD touchscreen with a high definition 1280x320 pixel display. The bright 800cd/m2 touchscreen display provides easy adjustment for all settings and features advanced anti-glare tempered glass. A one-touch, on-screen selection lets you quickly switch between the mirror and the rear-camera view. The FVMR-1155 mirror also includes a built-in, 1920x1080, front-facing HD camera for continual 1080p recording of the road ahead.

DVR: The Brandmotion FVMR-1155 features a built-in 2-channel DVR that records both front and rear camera video to the included 32GB micro-SD card, overwriting the oldest video when the card is full. If the internal G-sensor detects an impact, it will lock that section of video to the card. G-sensor sensitivity can be set to either Off, Low, Medium, or High in the settings menu.

Parking Monitoring: The FVMR-1155 features 12- and 24-hour Parking Monitoring that uses G-sensor activation to capture an impact, via the front camera, while the vehicle is parked. Recording is in a time lapse mode, capturing 1 frame every second. Every 2 minutes of video will be 1 hour of recording time. G-sensor Parking Monitor sensitivity can be set to either High or Low.
