A beautifully slim and versatile full-range outdoor speaker

With versatile modular design and a low-profile, wall-mountable form factor, this rugged Razor speaker serves up high-fidelity Coastal Source sound for outdoor spaces like your patio, deck, or pool area.

The RZ220 features a bi-amp design. One input feeds an ultra-shallow woofer with a coaxially mounted tweeter, and the other feeds a pair of built-in subwoofers. This arrangement provides surprisingly full sound with beefy bass response from a slim enclosure. The tweeter benefits from a custom-designed waveguide that helps improve clarity and sound dispersion.

Flexible mounting options

You can mount this speaker flat on a wall or post using the included brackets. All four sides of the cabinet are angled at 45º so you can tuck it neatly into a corner, whether placing it vertically or horizontally. Or line up multiple Razor speakers together around an external corner for broad coverage.

Features

Overview: The Coastal Source 3-Way Razor Speaker (RZ220) is an outdoor speaker designed to provide superior sound quality while maintaining a slim and elegent profile that easily blends in with your decor. The RZ220 can be wall- or corner-mounted and includes an aluminum mounting bracket.

Note: The Coastal Source RZ220 speaker is wired for bi-amping and will require a compatible Coastal Source amplifier with pre-configured DSP for powering it. Please contact our A/V Design Team for help setting up your system.

Power: The RZ220 Razor Speaker can handle up to 75W (RMS) of power for the 5.25" coax speaker and 200W (RMS) for the two 5.25" subwoofer drivers.

Construction: The Coastal Source RZ220 enclosure is constructed of extruded aluminum with a Kydex composite grille, for long-lasting durability.

Drivers: The RZ220 features a single 5.25" coaxial driver along with two 5.25" subwoofers, providing full, rich sound. The coaxially-mounted 1.5" tweeter features an Acoustic Fractal Waveguide bridge for improved clarity and efficiency.

Connections: The RZ220 is wired for bi-amping, with two 12" input cables attached to the rear of the speaker providing the input connections - one for the coaxial speaker and the other for the two subwoofers. Both cables are terminated in 2-pin CMC connectors and include 19" CMC-to-bare-ended wire adapters for connecting standard speaker wire.

Mounting: The Coastal Source 2.5-Way Razor Speaker's unique design allows it to be wall- or corner-mounted while taking up the least amount of space. The included mounting bracket can be used for wall-mounting the speaker to a flat surface. The speaker's angled enclosure design also allows it to be mounted in a corner for a low-profile installation. Screw holes on the side of the enclosure allow it to be mounted directly to each corner wall.

Note: The Coastal Source RZ220 includes a mounting bracket, but does not include mounting hardware which must be purchased separately based on the mounting surface material.
