Product Research

Features

Overview: The Code-Alarm DA-2 power door lock actuator can provide a power door lock to a door that has a manual lock. The DA-2 has a built-in slip clutch, so when used with the door lock cable bracket (item number 220CLBK, sold separately) it's also compatible with cable type factory door locks. The actuator responds to electrical signals from the alarm or keyless entry system and physically moves the vehicle's door locking rod to a locked or unlocked position. One DA-2 actuator will be needed for each door you want to control. If the alarm or keyless entry system you are installing does not have built-in door lock relays, you must add a door lock relay pack (item number 220DLRKP, sold separately) or two SPDT relays (item number 120E5000, sold separately).

Installation: The DA-2 should be installed behind the door panel in a location that won't inhibit window movement or door panel replacement.

Greetings Terry. This question is better answered by our technical support team. If you purchased the 412V system from Crutchfield, the direct tech support number will, be on your email confirmation. If not you can call in and ask to speak to an Alarm/Remote Start specialist at 800-324-9695. They should be able to tell you if it is compatible or not.

Honestly any alarm with remote locks will work. I used the low end Code Alarm. Locks/Unlocks well.

I forwarded your question to an Advisor and they responded with the following: The CA 1053 would work well with those Actuators. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_220CA1053/Code-Alarm-CA1053.html?tp=149 If you would like to discuss further you can contact an Advisor directly by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat.
