Wide-Screen Display: The Voxx RVM740SM Smart Mirror features a built-in 7.84" wide-screen WVGA TFT display with a resolution of 1280x400 and touchscreen controls. The mirror is designed to easily replace most factory installed rear-view mirrors.

Camera: The RVM740SM includes a built-in forward-looking camera with a 180˚ wide-angle view. The camera features a 6-layered camera lens and CCD sensors for a 1080x720 HD video output.

DVR: The Voxx Smart Mirror features a built-in DVR for recording images from the included forward-pointing camera, as well as from either of the 3 additional camera inputs. On-screen options include Start/Stop for video recording, a Photograph button for still photos, Full-Screen option, Switch from Front to Rear Camera, and more. Playback functions can also be accessed with the on-screen controls.

Micro SD Card: An 8 GB Micro SD card is included for recording video images from the camera. A snap-on cover on the bottom of the mirror accesses the two Micro SD card slots, one for recording camera images, the other for recording GPS information (if using optional GPS feature). Micro SD cards up to 32 GB are supported for both. The system can be set to record video continuously while driving, overwriting older video when the storage space is full. Video files can also be protected (Locked) so that they won't be overwritten if memory space runs out.

Bluetooth: The RVM740SM features Bluetooth capability for both hands-free phone calls as well as Bluetooth audio streaming. Pairing is initiated from the phone (default PIN: 1234). On-screen buttons include Answer, Hang Up, Redial, Dial, Phonebook, and more. Phone calls will be heard through the mirror's speaker or through the car stereo system. Music can also be streamed from a Bluetooth playback device. If using the Smart Mirror's built-in FM transmitter, phone calls and streamed audio can be played through the vehicle radio. Basic playback controls can be done from the touchscreen.

FM Transmitter: The Smart Mirror includes a built-in FM transmitter for transmitting audio from the RVM740SM to the vehicle's stereo system. Transmitting frequencies can be assigned from 100 MHZ to 108 MHZ.

Android Screen-Mirroring: An included USB adapter cable lets you connect a compatible Android phone for screen-mirroring through the RVM740SM's screen.

WiFi: Built-in wifi lets you use your compatible Android phone as a hotspot, allowing you to download apps from the Google Play store directly onto the Android-based Smart Mirror. 

Gesture Control: The RVM740SM features gesture control, for touch-free operation, using a gesture sensor light in the lower corner of the screen. Waving your hand from right to left in front of the screen will power the LCD screen on. Waving your hand from left to right will power the LCD screen off.

Optional Cameras: Two included wiring harnesses let you add additional cameras (sold separately).

• Rear Camera: The power and ground harness includes a composite video input for adding a rear-view camera. The female composite plug also includes a reverse trigger wire for putting the mirror into rear-camera mode when the vehicle is put into reverse.
• Side-View Cameras: A second video harness includes 2 female composite camera inputs, for installing a side-view camera on each side of the vehicle. Left and right trigger wires are included. These get spliced into the vehicle's turn-signal wires, allowing them to trigger the corresponding camera to be displayed on the mirror.

Navigation: GPS Navigation is an optional system add-on with iGO map subscription.
