Overview: The Voxx ADAS RVMDVR rear-view mirror is designed to replace the factory rear-view mirror and provide a continual image of what's in front of the vehicle via a windshield-mounted interior camera, along with providing standard rear-view mirror operation. Other features include a built-in DVR with event locking, parking mode, battery save mode, and the ability to add an optional EXTCAM1 rear-view camera (sold separately). The RVMDVR mirror uses the factory mounting base and is compatible with most vehicle's mirror mounts.

Front-View Camera: The Voxx ADAS RVMDVR rear-view mirror includes a front-view camera that can provide a continual display of the area ahead of the vehicle. The camera is designed to mount on the interior of the windshield and can be rotated 360° for optimum aiming.

Full Mirror Display: Along with fully functioning wide-angle, rear-view mirror operation, the RVMDVR features a built-in 9.88" LCD screen that uses almost the entire mirror surface for displaying a camera image in 2K (1296p) or 1080p resolution. Buttons along the bottom of the mirror lets you quickly switch the screen On/Off and toggle between the connected camera views. Menu and selection buttons let you adjust the display brightness as well as configure the settings.

Recording Modes: The RVMDVR features a built-in DVR that can continually record the connected camera images while the vehicle is powered on. Recordings are saved to the included 32GB micro-SD card.

• Video Recording: The default, Loop Recording mode, begins recording when the RVMDVR is powered on. It records and saves video to the included 32GB micro-SD card with the oldest video files getting overwritten when the memory is full. Loop Recordings can be stored in 1 min, 3 min, or 5 min times, selectable in the setup menu.
• Event Recording (G-Sensor): The RVMDVR will monitor its on-board impact sensor and, if an impact is detected, will create a 1 minute event file and lock it into the memory card. Event files cannot be overwritten.
• Sound Recording: A built-in microphone lets you record audio along with video footage.
• Video Streaming: The RVMDVR monitor/mirror can provide a live-stream view of the included front-view and optional rear-view cameras, letting you easily switch between them.
• Video Playback: The monitor/mirror can be used to playback recorded video files.
• Parking Mode: This feature starts recording when it detects an impact to your parked vehicle (requires constant power). You can adjust the sensor's sensitivity to Low, Middle, High, or Off. Parking Mode time-lapse recording can be set for 0.5s, 1s, 5s, or Off.
• Low Battery Protection: A low battery protection circuit can automatically deactivate parking mode in the event your battery drops too low. The voltage cutoff selection includes 11.8V, 12V, and 12.4V for 12V batteries, and 23.8V, 24V, and 24.4V for 24V batteries.
• GPS & Speed: Built-in GPS allows your location and speed to be stamped to Event Recordings.
• Photos: The RVMDVR lets you quickly take a still photo, or "snapshot", of the current camera view and store it on the micro-SD card as a JPEG file.
• Camera Settings: Settings for the included front-view camera and optional rear-view camera include:
  • Flip: Lets you invert the image if the camera is mounted upside down.
  • Mirror: Lets you select either a Normal or Mirror image for either camera input.
  • Guidelines: The rear camera input lets you add reverse guidelines for aiding in backing up.

micro-SD Slot: The DVR captures video and audio data onto the included 32GB micro-SD card. Video files are recorded in a seamless loop, and as the card fills up, it loops back and begins recording over the oldest unsaved clip. The card slot will support micro-SD cards up to 256GB.

Optional Backup Camera: The optional EXTCAM1 Exterior Rear Camera (sold separately) can provide a continual view of what's behind you, via a rear camera input on the mirror/monitor. The rear camera image can be recorded to the memory card along with front camera images.
