Sirius XM tuner add on

Only used it for a few days. It seems to have a lot of features such as 20 favorite channels you can select. I really like the rewind feature. If you hear a song you really like, you can replay it. Installation wasn't too bad. I ran all my wiring so that it was hidden, so it looks very seamless. I like the picture of the artist and song that's playing.

Not a Ford person

It's a good product but it will not work on a Ford F250 pickup. It will work with a GMC and Ram Truck. That is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. On a Ford it won't sync nor the USB won't work. Tried everything with it but it still won't work on a Ford. Not a good product for a Ford.

My 3 year old Onyx Plus started to have trouble obtaining a signal, so it was time to update. The Roady BT is the closest hardware offered at this time. I'm happy with it's performance and the larger display is nice. Crutchfield was great as always.

This receiver is light-years beyond the Onyx I previously owned.

I had to buy a new receiver because my car's latest software update broke its Bluetooth connectivity. The Onyx didn't have a way to adjust Bluetooth settings because a BT-capable dock was needed to work in the car. Everything works as before with better features and controls.

The package arrived early, the radio was easy to install and I didn't have a problem activating it. The display on this model is much better than my old radio. I'm using the antenna that came with the radio and my reception is great. I am very satisfied with this product.

Radio is fine after hours/days of trying to set it up!

While the radio is finally working fine, the enclosed instructions on how to access and save the channels are severely lacking. They are brief and do not explain fully how to do this. CHAT with a Sirius rep was a joke. They had no clue and never addressed my question, instead just kept saying it was a signal issue, which it wasn't. Through trial and error and many hours of attempts, I finally figured it out. Detailed instructions on the website would have helped, but there are none. Sirius needs to do better.

Works great! Using on Bluetooth so only the magnetic mount antenna required an easy cable run. Quick, well packaged shipment.

It provides excellent music clarity.

The unit works well. I could not install on the dash. So I had to install it with Alien tape on the shelf in our Toyota Highlander so it is a little low. Thus a little hard to read the screen. Even though this is my 2nd radio from XM, it is a different set up on the buttons, so I recommend reading the manual to remember all the different functions. Overall its performance is excellent. Less wiring to be done, too.

Roady BT Satellite radio

I really did not want to install a new receiver, but I wanted Sirius radio. The Roady BT Satellite radio is a good alternative. It works really good, easy to set and to use.

almost awesome

Overall it's a great unit. The antenna that comes with it not so much it's magnetic the truck I'm putting it in is plastic it's to small the wire is to small to carry a signal. I needed to buy a big mirror mounted antenna with a heavy cable to make it work right. Would be awesome if this was a option with the purchase so I didn't have to find this myself for an additional $70

I have a 2018 Mazda CX-5 with an extremely basic factory XM radio that I wanted to upgrade. The Roady BT snapped onto my existing magnet mount and paired with my audio system using Bluetooth perfectly on the first try. I was also able to re-use the factory antenna with a custom adapter. It's a clean setup and worlds better than the stock radio. Activation was quick and easy, I just plugged the radio ID into the SiriusXM site and I was receiving channels in 5 minutes. As far as Bluetooth functionality goes, title and artist information comes through, and play/pause works, but not skip forward/back. The stock head unit even fills in album art using its database, which was a welcome surprise.

SiriusXM relies heavily on online content

I'm giving this three stars instead of zero because Crutchfield is great. I bought this product because of a pending road trip in areas with poor cell reception. My plan was to listen to the post-season baseball games on SiriusXM. Admittedly I was ignorant of the fact that when SiriusXM says you can listen to every game that it means you are going to stream them online NOT on the radio. It was after I bought it and tried to sign up for the level of service to get these games that I realized I was naive and ignorant of how the world really works. But Crutchfield treated me with respect that was not due and took the product back (12-dollar restocking fee). Thank you Crutchfield. Shame on you SiriusXM for relying so heavily on online content but failing to make that obvious in your ads. I'm old enough to know I should read the fine print. Maybe this review will help someone else avoid this mistake.

"Bluetooth" is misleading

So BT is misleading. It will pair with a bluetooth enabled car radio. But for example your iPhone will not pair with it. I thought that was the case and I would be able to stream from my iPhone to car stereo. Not sure if he case! Also I have a seat base bolt flexible stalk mount in my 4 runner that mounts my old XM Roady very nicely. Very permanent. Didnt want stick on malarky or mount to an HVAC diffuser. So not compatible at all with previous XM Roady mounting. Forget it, nothing worthwhile here.

awsome product. I put it in my polaris rzr 900 and rode all day in the western Maine mountains .I only lost signal once for about 30 seconds .Installing was a breeze ,aux in to my system easy .And customer service once again 5 STARS great job Grant!

much improved model

This replaces the Onyx radio we have used in our Prius with somewhat disappointing results--hard to decipher the screen, tiny keys. This model is far superior, with an easy to read screen with vibrant colors, and a nice keyboard that allows skipping backwards in time. Plus the sound is quite crisp. We are totally satisfied.

This piece of equipment is exactly as described. Boxed very nicely. Stowing and hiding the wires cane be a challenge. I first started with the Bluetooth connection and found that I had to really turn the volume up to reach the sound level I was looking for. After experimenting with the unit and channels I disconnected the Bluetooth connection and used the RCA cable supplied. Much better sound and clarity. This very easy work with. Installed in a 2020 Ram 2500 club cab. no navigation radio.
