VOXX VXMTG10

Unit works ok/great, just a little hard to hide the RCA cables if you have little room under player. Work great after replacing original DVD player, to connect to radio head.

We installed this in our 2012 Acadia. I put in different brand a few years ago and it started scratching up all our DVDs. So far it has worked great, the only problem we have found is the FM signal is kind of week. I ended up getting a aux input box for the back of the radio that lets me hook directly to the radio

a downgrade from the old Audiovox 10.1"
Isaac from Plover, WI on 2/1/2021
This new version of the Audiovox 10.1" is major downgrade. The older version came with 3 sets of machine screws to mount the unit to the metal plate.. not this time, now there is one set of short machine screws. The older version came with 3 different spacer trim rings that can space the unit down from the ceiling some.. not this one. I'm installing this into an old conversion van in between 2 wood strips that run the length of the roof.. and sure enough, the wood strips are in the way of the DVD to be loaded. With the old unit we could have screwed the spacer on and used a longer set of screws and that would have been it... Now I'm breaking out the wood fabrication tools to make it work. Talk about a bummer.
Pros:
Cons: less hardware means a less versatile product to install.

Great for the money

Easy to install and worked like it was supposed to. I wish the screws that hold the screen to the mounting plate were longer or there were multiple sets that came with it - I mounted the plate above the headliner and had to go buy 1" screws to reach it. The FM signal is not as clean as a hardwired connection as expected, but there is more static than should be there at high volumes. Normal movie watching was fine, and the kids will use the IR headphones most of the time anyway.
Pros: Price and size
Cons: Screws too short.
