Crinkled french fries, discarded receipts, old gum wrappers — you probably have everything in the hidden corners of your vehicle except great bass. ThunderForm enclosures fill the nooks and crannies of your vehicle with low tones that stand out, but their factory look blends right in.

MTX engineers evaluate the "sonic signatures" of top-selling vehicles so they can design ThunderForms as custom acoustic matches. Each ThunderForm fits and blends inconspicuously into your vehicle, so you get great bass without losing any space. They're made of high-density polyethylene resin to curb resonances — they deliver bass that's tight, hard-hitting, and way down low. The airtight enclosure provides the correct internal volume to yield optimum bass response.

This molded MTX ThunderForm comes loaded with two premium-quality 10" Terminator subwoofers modified especially for amplified Thunderforms, with a specially-designed amp that puts out 200 watts of power. It installs in your 2000-10 Ford F-250 or F-350 SuperCab pickup under the rear seat. Your jack stays in its factory location, but the tools are relocated to the center of enclosure. The enclosure is seamless and airtight, with the correct internal volume to yield optimum bass response from the subwoofers. Hardware is included.

Features

Vehicle Compatibility: This ThunderForm custom-fit, amplified, pre-loaded enclosure is designed specifically to fit the 2000-2014 Ford F-250 Super Cab pickup truck.

Mounting Location: Then enclosure mounts under the rear bench seat. The vehicle's jack stays in its factory location and the tools are relocated to under center of enclosure.

Molded Enclosure: The molded, high-density polyethylene resin enclosure resists flexing and dampens resonance.

Dual 10" Terminator Subwoofers: This enclosure comes loaded with dual 10" MTX Terminator woofers. The woofers have an unusual impedance, specifically designed for the amp, and cannot be replaced with a standard MTX model.

Class D Amplifier: The enclosure contains a built-in 200-watt Class D (digital) amplifier that allows RCA or speaker-level input. The amplifier is highly efficient and designed specifically for use with the subwoofer in the enclosure.

Built-in Low-pass Filter: The low-pass filter frequency can be varied from 50 to 150 Hz for a seamless transition between the output of this unit and that of the other speakers in the vehicle.

External Bass Control: The external bass control allows you to adjust the bass level from anywhere in the vehicle.

Auto Turn-On Feature: When the speaker level inputs are used, the system will automatically turn on and off with the radio.

Note: The auto turn-on feature does not operate when the preamp level inputs are used, unless the remote turn-on lead is connected.

Does this come with a wiring kit/amp install kit?

The power and ground cables are included. Also included is a 3 foot remote turn-on wire. You may need a longer turn-on wire and cables to get the audio into the bar. We have advisors that you can reach by calling 1-800-324-9695 who can discuss your system and give a recommendation on the extra parts needed to complete the install.

Can you use an external amp to power the subs?

You cannot because this box only has inputs to get power and audio into the built-in amp. We should a custom subwoofer box like this one that doesn't have an amp built in so you can use an external amp to power it. Thanks for your question. It is a Class D Amplifier: The enclosure contains a built-in 200-watt Class D (digital) amplifier that allows RCA or speaker-level input.
