Built to perform
MTX's WET65-W 6-1/2" marine speakers feature a durable, waterproof polypropylene cone that'll stand up to humidity and UV exposure, along with a 1" treated silk dome tweeter that supplies all the high-frequency details in your music. A tough, sealed white ABS plastic basket protects each speaker's internal motor structure against corrosion, while the sharp-looking white grille will keep its looks while protecting the speaker from onboard mishaps.
The WET65-W speakers will handle up to 65 watts of RMS power, or 130 watts peak power. Their weatherproof construction makes them ideal for ATVs and other off-road vehicles too.

Features
Marine Tested: The WET65-W is designed to be weather resistant and durable in conditions where water, humidity, or element exposure is prevalent. It features a polypropylene cone that is water resistant, a sealed ABS basket that protects the internal motor structure, silicone insulated tinsel leads, and ASA plastic grilles with UV inhibitor that are durable and that won't fade over time. Channels in the speaker frames and grilles allow any water splashed on the cone to drain.
Mounting Hardware: Marine-grade stainless-steel mounting screws are included.
Grille: Grilles are included, but the speakers can be installed without them. If the woofer is mounted with the grille, several measurements are different:
- Mounting Height: changes from 0.872" to 1"
- Flange Height: changes from 0.23 to 0.68"
- Frame Diameter: changes from 6.684" to 7.07"

I was more than pleased with my purchase, these speakers sound much better than the old Sony marine grade speakers that didn't last more than two years on my boat. I would highly suggest others to make the same purchase, and they arrived quickly as well.
