Easy to cut, easy to apply. The adhesive seems nice and tacky, to thre point that peeling the backing off was my only complaint. If you have jagged cuts at all, be prepared to have to peel little strips at a time lol. Other than that, definitely made a difference! Much less road noise in my doors!

This only has one layer of material to dampen audio interference and reduce heat transfer. So it can install in similar places as CLD models but is built more like back wave foam models

Overview: The SoundSkins Wavy Foam (SSK-WAVY) is a thick mat made of SoundSkins' signature closed-cell foam that's designed to absorb external sounds and isolate vibrations. The Wavy Foam is pliable, compressible, shock resistant, and durable. It's also lightweight, easy to cut, and features a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick application. The Wavy Foam is waterproof and resistant to mold, mildew, petroleum, and weather.

Noise Reduction: SoundSkins Wavy Foam absorbs sound, making it perfect for eliminating external noise coming into your vehicle cabin such as road, wind, or tire noise, especially in the mid- to high-frequency range. The Wavy Foam can also work as an effective decoupler by separating two surfaces and reducing the amount of vibration between them.

Thermal Insulation: SoundSkins Wavy Foam is an excellent insulator. The thick closed-cell foam can add a layer of insulation against heat and cold ingress, significantly improving the inside environment along with the sound quality.
