Fine, connector does not fit OEM

I have a 2005 5-Series (e60), whose CCC finally died. While upgrading to a standard Dual-DIM stereo, figured I would add a reverse camera. Loved that this fit within the standard trunk latch space, so no drilling or body modifications required. It fits pretty well, but doesn't seat fully against the opening, it is lower quality plastics/rubber than the almost 20 year old original trunk handle, but acceptable. Video quality from the camera is OK and certainly worth the upgrade. The integrated parking guidelines are worthless, bad looking, so thankfully it is easy to snip the wire loop to disable. My biggest issue with this is the trunk switch connector did not match my OEM connector. I contacted CRUX support to see if they had a simple adapter so I could avoid cutting the wires, and they said, "No, just return it to Crutchfield." It would be a bigger pain to uninstall and return than to either cut and add in spade connectors, or just leave the trunk switch disconnected.

Does not fit E91 Wagon

Does not fit BMW 3-Series wagons (E91). I bought this for a BMW 328i E91, which is the wagon/touring/estate. Although the item description does not specify whether it fits both sedans (E90) and wagons (E91), it does not fit the E91. Construction of the unit does not allow it to fit into the handle opening - the electrical connection is too tall and sits in a different location than on the OEM handle it was to replace. Of course, I did not discover this until I had already run the wire all the way from the front of the car to the back. My fault for not test fitting it first. I can't return it since the wiring part is already installed on the car and it was a big job getting that wire through to the tailgate so I'm not pulling it out and just hoping that whatever camera I do end up with will be able to use the same wiring.

Install was easy. Picture was clear. Sadly it failed after a few weeks so I just disabled it on the stereo. Will replace when I find a better solution.

OEM look and feel.

Easy install. Popped out the old handle and this popped right back in. Easy to wire and looks like OEM.
