Radio Replacement Interface: The CRUX CS-TJ20B is a radio replacement interface for select Toyota & Lexus vehicles with factory JBL audio system. It facilitates the integration of an aftermarket radio and enables retention of factory features when replacing a factory installed radio in select Toyota vehicles with JBL amplified system. The CRUX CS-TJ20B is also pre-programmed for retention of factory steering wheel controls.

Retains Factory Amplifier: The CRUX CS-TJ20B will retain your vehicle's factory JBL Harman-Becker Digital-Synthesis Amplifier, including JBL (Pioneer-made) amplifiers. Use the three gain adjustment dip-switches to level match your aftermarket head unit's output with the factory amplifier's input. Balance & Fader control are not supported and lost when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket head unit. Make sure the factory radio's Balance & Fader settings are centered before removing the factory radio.
Note: Does not retain Mark Levinson, Pioneer, Nakamichi, or Harman Kardon factory amplifiers.
Retains Steering Wheel Controls: The CS-TJ20B will retain your vehicle's factory steering wheel controls. Two steering wheel control harnesses are included, but only one will be used based on your brand of aftermarket head unit (see Installation Instructions). You will also need to configure the CS-TJ20B's three dip-switches based on your brand of aftermarket head unit (see Installation Instructions). Retained steering wheel control functions will vary by brand of aftermarket head unit (some functions require short or long button press).

Retains Factory Aux Input: The CS-TJ20B lets you retain your vehicle's factory Auxiliary Input through the use of your aftermarket head unit's rear-panel Aux input. The CS-TJ20B is outfitted with stereo RCA jacks, so if your aftermarket head unit features a 3.5mm jack, you will need a RCA-to-Minijack adapter (sold separately).
Navigation Outputs: The CS-TJ20B provides a Parking Brake, VSS (vehicle speed sense), and a Reverse Gear output to make installing an aftermarket navigation head unit simpler and less time consuming.

Easy to install, works 90% of the time. Once in about 10 times the steering wheel controls don't work and no sound. Just need turn vehicle off and then on again and the system will work.
