  • Compatible 2012-2013 Kia Sorenta must be equipped with factory UVO.
  • Not compatible in any of these vehicles that feature a factory amplified audio system.

Steering Wheel Control Retention: The CRUX SWRHK-65E features a steering wheel control output for Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood, JVC, and Jensen, Dual/Axxera, Boss and other aftermarket head units. The included steering wheel control harness features a 3.5mm connector and light blue/yellow wire for your aftermarket radio; only one connector type will be used based on your type of aftermarket radio. There are also dip switches that will need to be set for your type of aftermarket radio (see included instructions).

Factory Aux Input Retention: The SWRHK-65E interface module will retain your vehicle's factory aux input through its stereo RCA jacks. Your aftermarket head unit will need to have a rear Aux input.

Antenna Adapter: The SWRHK-65E provides a motorola to 2-wire antenna adapter to retain your vehicle's factory antenna.

Customer Q&A

Q
does this work with a 2016 Kia Rio? A 2016 Kia Rio is not listed in the compatibility list.

Greetings Doug. That is an excellent question. Technically Crux has it listed as working up to 2014 Rio's as well as the copy we put on our web presentation. however, our tech staff has confirmed all the pins match the 2016 Rio as well. On a side note, we have been sending this harness out with stereos for your Rio since 2016 without a call in saying this does not work.

Q
Will this work for a 2015 Kia Optima with a Kenwood DDX9905S?

A
This interface will work in that vehicle as long as your Optima came without factory installed navigation and without the factory Infinity sound system. If you have one or both of those options, then I recommend contacting a advisor by calling 1-800-324-9695 or using our online chat to get a recommendation on the wiring needed for your vehicle. Q
My 2015 Kia Optima has 5 buttons and 2 toggles for radio control on the steering wheel: mute, mode, answer, hang up, voice, volume up/down, and track up/down. What functions are retained with this adapter?
