Features
Overview: The CRUX LVCB-07 interface lets you retain your factory GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link) rear-view camera when adding an aftermarket headunit to select RAM and Jeep vehicles with a digital rear-view camera.
Wiring & Setup: The LVCB-07 interface module features a FAKRA input jack for connecting your factory rear-view camera cable. A composite video jack lets you connect a standard composite video cable (not included) to the rear-view camera input on the back of your aftermarket video screen/monitor headunit.
- 3-Wire Harness: The LVCB-07 module includes connection wires for +12VDC Power, Ground, and a Reverse wire input connection.
- DIP Switches: Three DIP switches on the rear panel of the interface determine the type of factory monitor that came with the vehicle; DIP switch #1 gets set to OFF for older vehicle with a low-resolution screen, and set to ON for newer vehicles with a high-resolution screen. DIP switches #2 and #3 must be set to OFF.
- LED Indicators: Three LEDs on the interface module provide feedback for setting up:
- Blue: Indicates a valid source is connected
- Green: Indicates a signal is present
- Red: Unit is actively powered up
USB: A mini-B USB input is provided for firmware updates.
Compatibility: The CRUX LVCB-07 interface can be used in the following year/model vehicles:

Installed a radio in a new Jeep. Backup camera cannot be retained with any of the advanced harness systems. This add-on piece saved the trouble of running a new camera. Worked flawlessly!
