Keep your factory steering wheel controls, and b/u camera.

2017 Nissan Sentra
Seems a little expensive when you open the box, but it definitely works! Steering wheel controls work just like factory and the factory b/u camera is still functional. You may have to experiment with the dip switches some, depending on the stereo. I have one of the latest Kenwood units, and the directions call for all 3 switches to be in the "on" position- nothing worked at all- tried turning the middle switch to "off" because that was the setting for JVC (which is Kenwoods sister company) and the head unit powered on and everything worked as described. Installation will take some time, connecting the harness and all- but it's not terrible. Well worth the money and effort to have everything work together properly!
Pros: Factory cam and wheel controls work flawlessly. Unit will also let you maintain your factory usb port if you choose to- though most modern aftermarket head units come with a usb port.
Cons: Takes some time to install (not terrible though) Could be a little less expensive considering what's included. Looks like about $10 worth of parts/ material.

This was exactly what I was looking for. My 2017 Nissan Sentra SR factory unit had backup camera and non-touch screen display with no GPS...wanted a CarPlay unit and didn't want to spend $300 to have someone install unit since they are pretty easy to install. It's the wiring that was confusing for the factory radio. Instructions were great and the retaining of steering wheel controls worked perfectly the 1st try. Used WAGO splicing connectors which made the wire connections superfast.

I used this product to replace the radio in my 2015 Nissan Rogue, and the installation was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and it was truly plug-and-play. Highly recommend.

Connected and worked without a hitch and since I opted for ready harness it was easy. I think I did do however - was prior to everything went to CRUX website and against this unit found a firm wire which was able to apply using the undocumented USB mini-port I found on 1 side. Then after which, connected everything. Although everything was provided had to recourse to using a cable from the HU supplied accessory cables since to connect the steering wheel controls they should have provided the cable.

Cons: - No instructions to see if firm wire available before install. - Lack of a connecting cable which provides the steering wheel control capabilities and had to use the HU supplied cable.
