I bought this to replace the felt mat that came with my Project turntable. I tried a much thicker acrylic mat that looked cool but it was 3mm thick and these turntables are set up for 1mm mats and don't have a VTA adjustment other than adding a shim (Carbon Debut). The cork&rubber is doing very well especially with static control. I play mostly thicker 180 gram records so I will keep this mat and eventually upgrade my turntable as it is time. A little pricey but it sounds good and seems like it is very good quality. Made in EU.
