High Precision Motor Control: The rocker switch on the bottom of the turntable allows you to change speeds with the push of only a single button. Besides being able to effortlessly change replay speeds with the push of a button, the playback speed is electronically controlled with the utmost precision, which results in the most accurate and stable speed. The Debut Evo 2 supports 33-1/3 & 45 RPM records (45 RPM adapter included). The belt decouples the motor from the big sub platter, preventing motor vibrations to travel to the needle.

Carbon Fiber Tonearm: The new Debut Evo 2 features the proven 8.6" one-piece Carbon Fiber tonearm design. The super stiff, but lightweight tonearm delivers outstanding sound quality with a convincing soundstage. The one-piece arm and headshell design prevents unwanted resonances and offers a solid physical bond to the cartridge. In addition, the precise CNC milled aluminum bearing offers very low friction and excellent stability, while absorbing all unwanted resonances coming from the cartridge.

• Adaptive Skating Force: As the skating force varies between the inner and outer grooves of the vinyl record, Proj-Ject's anti-skating mechanism adjusts accordingly.
• Counterweight: Pro-Ject added a TPE damping ring to the counterweight included with the turntable to further reduce resonance and unwanted vibration.

Pick it MM Evo Cartridge: Pro-Ject phono specialists teamed up with the cartridge experts at Ortofon in Denmark to work on the new design of the Pick It MM Evo Cartridge. The cartridge is made from a unique combination of technologies. One of which is Ortofon's well known split-pole pins, which enables it to have a flat frequency response. Everything about the Pick it MM Evo cartridge has been designed to complement the Debut Evo 2 turntable perfectly for excellent reproduction of your vinyl record music collection.

Die-Cast Aluminum Platter: The heavy 1.7kg die-cast aluminum platter has been reworked and precision balanced to obtain a perfect platter. The heavy aluminum platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and thus minimize wow-and-flutter. The Debut EVO 2 platter is also anti-magnetic, which allows you to use MC cartridges and upgrade to Pro-Ject's True Balanced Connection technology (requires Pro-Ject balanced preamp and balanced adapter cable - both sold separately).

MDF Plinth with Height Adjustable Damped Feet: The Pro-Ject Debut Evo 2's attractive, resonance-reducing MDF plinth is available in a variety of hand-painted finishes or a real-walnut veneer. The MDF plinth sits on three height adjustable damped feet to guarantee the perfect base. By using three feet Pro-Ject is able to increase the stability on uneven surfaces, because a perfectly level turntable is essential for real high-end sound.

Gold-Plated RCA Outputs: The Pro-Ject Debut Evo 2 is outfitted with a set of gold-plated stereo RCA outputs that provide excellent audio signal transfer and resistance against corrosion. A high-quality stereo RCA cable is included. Pro-Ject's Connect-it-E cable is a semi-balanced, low-capacitance cable, with superior shielding. However, you can always upgrade to an even higher quality cable if preferred. The turntable will need to plug into a Phono MM input on your AV receiver or integrated amplifier. If your receiver or amp lacks a Phono MM input, you'll need an external phono preamp (sold separately - see Accessories Tab) to connect between the turntable and your receiver or amplifier.

Dust Cover: The Pro-Ject Debut Evo 2 comes supplied with a clear acrylic dust cover to prevent dust build-up on the turntable.

Switch-Mode Power Supply: The Debut Evo 2 turntable uses a switch-mode power supply that takes the unrefined AC power from your wall and converts it to DC. That DC power is then fed to a DC/AC generator within the turntable, which in turn powers the AC motor. The advantage is that a completely new sine wave is created by the generator, fully decoupling your turntable from the dirty AC power coming from your outlet. This amounts to steady power being fed to the motor thereby enhancing speed stability.
