Features

High Precision Motor Control: The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono features a high precision motor that drives a belt system connected to a newly designed sub-platter exclusive for this turntable. The sub-platter is mounted on an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. A rocker switch on the side of the turntable allows you to change speeds with the push of only a single button. Besides being able to effortlessly change replay speeds with the push of a button, the playback speed is electronically controlled with the utmost precision, which results in the most accurate and stable speed. The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono supports 33-1/3 & 45 rpm speed playback (45rpm adapter included).

Zero-Resonance Philosophy: The T2 Super Phono turntable features Pro-Ject's zero-resonance philosophy by incorporating a MDF (medium density fiberboard) plinth, 10mm glass platter (1.7kg), and damped aluminum feet. The sturdy MDF plinth is available in a gloss black, satin white, and walnut veneer finish. It rests on three height adjustable damped feet to guarantee the perfect stand & reduce risk of acoustical feedback. In addition, the included heavy glass platter avoids the flaws of plastic or lightweight steel alternatives. A felt mat is also included to further protect your vinyl record collection.

Sumiko Rainier MM Cartridge: The pre-installed Sumiko Rainier is a moving magnet (MM) phono cartridge with an all-new integrated body and generator system that significantly reduces internal resonances. It features an aluminum pipe cantilever, elliptical stylus, and pure copper wiring. The Rainier cartridge offers smooth, natural sound reproduction and skillfully places instruments & vocals right where they belong.

9" Aluminum Tonearm: With its 9" effective length and stiff aluminum construction, this one-piece tonearm also features new updated low-friction bearings to accommodate the increased length and diameter for absolute accuracy during vinyl record playback. The included counter-weight and adjustable spring-based anti-skating mechanism optimizes the turntable's tonearm and phono cartridge/stylus performance.

Selectable Phono Preamp with Stereo RCA Outputs: The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono features a built-in, selectable preamp phono MM stage that allows you to connect the turntable to an integrated amp or stereo receiver's line-level or Phono MM input. The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono is outfitted with a set of stereo RCA outputs and comes with Pro-Ject's Connect-it-E high-quality stereo RCA cable to connect the turntable to your integrated amplifier or receiver. The Pro-Ject Connect-it-E cable is a semi-balanced, low-capacitance cable, with superior shielding. However, you can always upgrade to an even higher quality cable if preferred.

Note: There is a switch on the back of turntable that allows you to switch from Phono to Line out.

Dust Cover: The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono comes supplied with a clear acrylic dust cover to prevent dust build-up on the turntable and your vinyl record collection.

  • Dimensions with Dust Cover Closed: 18.3125" (w) x 5.375" (h) x 13.875" (d)
  • Dimensions with Dust Cover Open: 18.3125" (w) x 14.875" (h) x 16.875" (d)

AC Power Adapter: The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono operates off of standard household current using the supplied external AC power adapter which will need to be plugged into the back of the turntable and into an AC power outlet or surge protector/line-conditioner (sold separately).

Customer Q&A

Q
How much do replacement stylus's cost for the cartridge on this turntable? Thank you!

A
Hey Keith, so that turntable uses a Sumiko Rainier cartridge which retails $149 for the whole cartridge but if you wanted to source just a stylus, we do not sell those directly but when I look around at other sellers, I see they retail for around $89 for just the stylus.
