Pro-Ject T2
Christopher from Anderson, AL on 5/25/2025
Great finishing piece I paired with my NAD c700 and Revel F 35's. I'm rehabbing a 1968 vintage stereo cabinet that will integrate with the Pro-Ject T-2 that looks fantastic with the green glass platter. Also sounds great! Thank you Chris K

Quality Turntable
Vinson M from Jacksonville, FL on 1/27/2025
I wanted a turntable with no bells and whistles and that is what I got. I have the deck plugged into a Emotiva TA1 integrated amplifier sending sound to a pair of ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 speakers. To my ear the sound output is more than acceptable, it is GREAT. But I wanted more clarity and invested in a Schiit Mani 2 phono stage. Now you are talking, the clarity of the music opened up. The only slight negative is the table can be easy to slide around. Just be careful and enjoy the music. The setup was super easy as close to plug and play as you can get. Would highly recommend.

Excellent mid-fi turntable

I've been rocking a fully digital system for two years or so, with a Bluesound Powernode Edge, Revel F35 mains, and an SVS subwoofer. This summer, I decided maybe it was time to add a turntable, so I first purchased a Bluesound Hub so that I had a phono-preamp and a means to stream it to my Powernode Edge amplifier. The Pro-Ject T2 had the aesthetic I wanted, the cartridge that I thought would best match my preference for a bit of warmth. When the package arrived, everyone in my family criticized me for being a hipster. After playing two songs off Morcheeba's Big Calm, everyone in the family changed their tune. We go to the record store, and everyone gets to pick a record. Now, every evening after dinner, the family lines up to play their favorite record. It's been great to have the family enjoying music as much as I do, and streaming wasn't doing it for them. In terms of sound, I don't have much to compare it to, the only record players I've ever had were your basic cheap junk from the 70's and 80's. That being said I think it sounds fantastic. The Sumiko Rainier is punchy with a touch of warmth, which is how I like my music. I don't feel like I'm missing any detail, it just makes everything sound great. Long story short, it's great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. If you're in the Bluesound ecosystem, pick up a Hub and buy the turntable of your choosing. The Hub's phono preamp is solid. Highly recommended.
Pros: Beautiful Well built Sounds incredible
