Overview: The Reolink Argus Series B340 is a 2K+ Wi-Fi security camera that helps keep an eye your property. It operates on your home's dual-band Wi-Fi network for a stable wireless connection with lower latency. The B340 is powered by a 6000mAh rechargeable battery that is kept charged by the included Reolink Solar Panel. Recordings are stored locally via a microSD card (a 64 GB card is included). The Argus Series B340 is covered by a two-year warranty.

Lens: The B340 is equipped with a 2.8mm fixed focal length lens and a wide f/1.6 aperture. The lens provides a 105° horizontal, 55° vertical, and 125° diagonal field of view.

Video Recording: The camera has a 1/2.7" CMOS image sensor that produces beautiful 2K+ video with 2880 x 1616 (5MP) resolution at up to 15 frames per second. It uses H.265 video compression.

Audio: The Argus Series B340 is equipped with a microphone and speaker that enables two-way communication. With your cellphone and the Reolink app, you can have a real-time conversation with anyone near the camera.

Wireless Features: The B340 is compatible with dual-band Wi-Fi technology (802.11a/b/g/n), operating on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. You can stream 2K+ video footage with lower latency and better stability. Your videos are protected with WPA/WPA2 security.

Power Options: The camera is powered by a built-in 3.6V, 6000mAh (21.6Wh) Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. It can be charged via the camera's USB-C port and a 5V adapter (not included). The B340 comes with the 3-watt Reolink Solar Panel to extend the battery life. The panel has a 12.75-foot cable that plugs into the camera's USB-C port. Just 10 minutes of solar charging can power the camera for 24 hours. The Solar Panel will only charge the battery at temperatures above 32°F.

Color Night Vision: The B340 offers clear vision in bright daylight. In low light situations, the camera uses the 8 infrared LEDs and built-in spotlights to provide color video footage. The camera's two small spotlights on the front panel illuminate the area enough for the f/1.6 lens and image sensor to capture detailed images in color. You can also choose to record in black and white night vision, if desired.

Motion Detection: The Argus Series B340 security camera features PIR (passive infrared) motion detection to alert you of activity on your property. The PIR sensor has a 110° field of view and extends to a maximum of 33 feet (10 meters). Its detection area is adjustable, Motion zones can be customized to protect privacy and to focus on vulnerable areas. The camera uses AI algorithms to analyze the detected motion to distinguish between people, vehicles, and animals to provide Smart Notifications and reduce false alarms.

Video Storage Options: The B340 offers flexible local storage options with no subscription fees. The camera is equipped with a microSD card slot, compatible with cards up to 128 GB, for storing your recordings. A 64 GB microSD card is included. The camera is compatible with Reolink's Home Hub (sold separately), which can store footage from multiple cameras and track subjects from one camera to another. The B340 also supports Reolink Cloud storage where you can save and access your recordings from anywhere without worry of loss due to camera theft or microSD card failure. A paid subscription to Reolink Cloud is required.

Installation: The B340 can be used indoors, but its IP66 weatherproof rating makes it ideal for outdoor installation. It can be mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included bracket and hardware. The camera also comes with a strap for mounting it on a tree or post. Likewise, the solar panel can be mounted to a wall, tree, or post. The solar panel should be mounted in a location that receives the most direct sunlight year round.

Reolink App: The Reolink App (iOS 13.4+, Android 8.0+) lets you view your videos on your smartphone from anywhere. The app also lets you create time-lapse videos to compress the time of the recording. You can also have two-way conversations with anyone near the camera using the app and your phone's microphone. Desktop versions of the Reolink App are also available for Windows and Mac OS. The B340 also integrates with Google Assistant for convenient voice control and for viewing images from the camera.
