Flexible for short throw and great in ambient light!

I am very pleased with this projector. I upgraded from a Panasonic 720P projector, which did well in a semi-dark room. This new JVC4K handles ambient light beautifully. The picture is crisp and sharp. The projector is mounted on the ceiling area with a short throw distance of ~10 feet. The manual and digital adjustments allowed me to position the picture on my existing 90" screen exactly as needed. The fan is just a bit louder than my previous projector. However, it is well worth it to upgrade from 720P to 4K.

Excellent 4K Projector at Mid-Range Pricing

Nice Big Bang for the buck! I researched and browsed for months, looking for a 4K projector. I wanted to upgrade from 1080P. I even took a hiatus for a few months, because I was discouraged by the prices of 4K projectors. When I started up my "search" again, I discovered this projector. It was being advertised before it was released, so I had plenty of time to do some research on it, and comparisons to other projectors. This is DLP, 4K, UHD, HDR10 and laser! Wow! These were the "highlights" that I was looking for in a new projector. I am a component level electronics technician, so, of course, I was also interested in hardware specifications. I would have "preferred" the .66" DMD DLP chip (personal preference per electronic specifications), but I was willing to give the .47" DMD with e-shift a try... for the price. True native 4K DLP chips or LCD panels would be awesome, but those were waaay out of my price range. On the other hand, I was a bit concerned about the image quality that would be presented by the "e-shift" technology that this projector uses to create a "4K" image. Again, for the price, I was willing to try. But before I leaped, I studied some reviews of this model's predecessor... and, of course, JVC's other projectors. I have owned this projector for about 9 months, and I am VERY satisfied with it! I get a bright high quality real 4K image from my XBOX Series X, through my Denon AV receiver, and onto a 100" Silver Ticket white movie screen. NICE!

Excellent picture and performance. Worth the money to upgrade to this new technology. And the flexibility of the lens and corner adjustments make installation super easy with a fantastic picture
