Revel Performa3 B110v2
Christopher from Scottsdale, AZ on 2/7/2025
Beautiful speaker, zero distortion or any sound other than clean bass. Paired with the F226be and C426be up front crossed over at 70 hz. Are there cheaper subs with more output? Of course, but this blends perfectly finishing off an incredible system.

Great Subwoofer
Nicholas from TAUNTON, MA on 1/7/2025
I bought this when upgrading my whole Sound system. It Pairs very well with my Focal Aria Evo X Towers. It's very accurate, and with the setup, it's great for Music. It is super accurate. One thing I will say, at least, in my room, it's not as Boom-y if you're looking for that. I had to crank it up to get some boom for movies and such, and Movies sometimes cause it to bottom out before it gets close to shaking the room., but for music, it can't be beaten. It blends perfectly with the tower hitting those lows that the towers just don't do well. Overall, I'm happy, but I might get a second sub to add more movie "Boom".
Pros: Music Accurate Low Wall Power Draw Pretty
Cons: If you want boom, it might not be your sub

Revel B110v2
Lee from PALO ALTO, CA on 10/4/2023
The Revel B110v2 subwoofer delivers excellent, powerful, musical bass for movies using an AV processor or music using a stereo preamp as a source. It provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs both of which work well. It does so in a package of reasonable size and weight. It replaces a Bowers and Wilkins DB3D, which after 3 years developed an issue of momentarily shutting down electronics when signal level dropped too low and then coming back on with a quiet but audible thump, all of this with power indicator showing "on", i.e. never going "standby". As the warranty was only 2 years, I must bear the cost of repairing the DB3D. The Revel B110v2 has a superior warranty of 5 years. Warranty duration is something I will look at carefully going forward. The B110v2 manual states it should be connected to an unswitched power outlet, advice that should be followed. Switching off the outlet when powered on causes a bit of a speaker pop. I therefore leave it powered on and control taking it out of standby with a 12V control signal; that works well. For its size, performance, and warranty, I enthusiastically recommend the Revel B110v2.

A Real Misfire from Revel
Crutchfield customer from Melbourne, FL on 11/15/2021
I was really disappointed in this product. I bought this to accompany front and center-channel Revel Performa Be speakers I'm using in a combination 5-channel/2-channel set-up in our family room. Right out of the box, I had to question the quality-control used in the manufacture of this item. It's a B110 but arrived with a B112 control panel on the back of the unit. I'm sure that there's no functional difference, but this illustrates poor attention to detail and, for the price, an unacceptable customer experience. Along these same lines, I was surprised to find one of the unit's feet out of level with the other three. I'm unable to address this as there are no adjustable feet in the box despite those being listed as an included item. Turning to function, I had no success getting the unit to turn-on automatically in the auto power mode. I was able to get around this with a 12v trigger but, again, not what you expect to see in an expensive item with the Revel name on it. On the plus-side, the cabinet of this unit is furniture quality and matched the walnut cabinets of the Revel front and center channel speakers beautifully. Unfortunately, the quality of the sound could also be characterized as furniture quality. There's absolutely no comparison between this clunker and the very fast and musical REL units that I use in our theater room and a smaller 2-channel set-up in another room of the house. Finishing on a positive, Crutchfield made the return easy.
Pros: Furniture quality cabinet Easy to return
Cons: Poor quality control Poor audio performance vs. other products in this price range.
