This speaker is advertised both on Crutchfield and on the box as having a 6 1/2" woofer. As you can see in the picture, the actual size of the woofer is about 5". This is a typical size housing for a 6 1/2" woofer (with an 8" cutout size), with a small woofer. The sound reflects the smaller size woofer. I absolutely do not recommend.

Pros:

Cons: Smaller woofer than what is advertised.

Crutchfield response on 4/18/2023
Speaker sizing can be one of most confusing things we deal with on a daily basis here at Crutchfield, and it helps to think of speakers in categories instead of exact sizes. Measuring a speaker will never yield the same number as its category, as Richard pointed out in his comment. If you look at what most manufacturers consider to be a 6-1/2" speaker, you'll notice the cone size is often just over 5", just like he stated. These categories are used commonly throughout the industry, so we use them as well, so as not to potentially confuse not confuse our customers. In any event, you can find out more about identifying speaker "sizes" here.
