Each speaker has a rugged 8" aluminum cone woofer and 1" aluminum dome tweeter in a weather-resistant cabinet. The included InvisiBall® mount lets you aim the sound where it's needed most.

You may choose to mount these in your backyard at home, or you may want them to provide background music at a restaurant or other place of business. There's a versatile power tap on each speaker that lets you incorporate them into a commercial sound system. If you're using them with home equipment, the Thru setting allows use with home audio equipment (4-ohm stable amplifier required). They're ready for work and play.

Features
Overview: The Revel M80XC is a 2-way, extreme climate, outdoor loudspeaker designed to withstand wet high-humidity locations while giving audiophile sound quality. The M80XC is also resistant to corrosion from salt water, making it ideal for marine applications such as docks or beachfront property. The speaker can handle up to 60 watts of power and can be used in both 70/100 volt or 8 ohm systems.
Enclosure: Housed in a durable polymer enclosure with a weather-coated aluminum grill, the M80XC is comprised of an 8" aluminum cone woofer and a 1" aluminum dome tweeter. The tweeter utilizes Revel's Acoustic Lens waveguide technology for better imaging with a wider "sweet spot". Designed to handle extreme climates, the speaker carries an IP56 weather protection rating.
Wiring: The M80XC designed primarily for 70/100 volt applications, but can also be used as an 8Ω speaker. Two stainless steel barrier strip terminals are provided for the input wiring and include an Input Weather Cover for added protection. Taps are set via a recessed slot-head screw with a protective rubber cap on the rear of the speakers. Available transformer taps for both 70 and 100 volt systems include:
- 70 Volt: 60W, 30W, 15W, 7.5W, and 8Ω bypass
- 100 Volt: 60W, 30W, 15W, and 8Ω bypass
InvisiBall Mounting: The M80XC utilizes the InvisiBall mounting system, which gives the speaker a wide range of mounting angles and allows it to be either wall or ceiling mounted. Removing the protective cap on the back of the speaker exposes the socket for the ball on the end of the wall mount to fit into. Once the speaker is at the desired angle, the socket can be tightened onto the ball bracket using the included M6 Allen key. This is done from the front of the speaker by removing the grill and accessing the Allen key slot underneath the tweeter. This mounting method allows the speaker angle to easily be adjusted without having to remove the speaker from the bracket. Since the InvisiBall mount allows the speaker to be mounted either vertically or horizontally, the grill logo can be rotated 90˚ for either.
