Bi-Polar Configuration: The Revel by Harman Performa3 S206 surround loudspeaker's two sets of drivers (tweeters & woofers) operate in a bi-polar configuration to deliver a smooth, uniform response over a very wide listening area, producing an enveloping surround-sound environment that enhances your movie soundtrack's realism for multiple listeners.

Dual 6.5" Aluminum Woofers: The Revel Performa3 S206 loudspeaker features two 6.5" woofers that incorporate several performance-enhancing advances which eliminate common sources of resonance and distortion that can compromise sound quality - even a high volume levels. Each woofer features a ribbed aluminum cone that achieves ideal, piston-like behavior, cast-aluminum frames for excellent rigidity, and a motor-system distortion-reduction mechanism that stabilize the flux field during operation.

Dual 1" Tweeters w/ Integrated Acoustic Lens Waveguides: The Performa3 S206 loudspeaker is equipped with two 1" aluminum dome tweeters that feature integrated acoustic lens waveguides. The acoustic lens waveguides accurately matches the dispersion of the tweeters and woofers in the crossover region and provide consistent sound over a wide listening area. They also generate extremely smooth, far off-axis sound, a critical factor in overall sound quality. Unlike previous waveguide designs, this new acoustic lens waveguide design actually increases dispersion at the highest frequencies, when compared to conventional tweeters. The result is a noticeably improved sense of air and detail, contributing to greater musical enjoyment.

High-Order Crossovers: High-order crossovers dramatically reduce distortion and dynamic compression in this Performa3 Series loudspeaker. This reduction results in cleaner sound and consistent sound quality over a wide dynamic range. These advanced crossovers also optimize timbre accuracy, enhancing the listener's musical enjoyment both on axis and throughout the room. The carefully selected crossover components help Performa3 loudspeakers achieve exceptional performance.

Elegant Enclosure: The Revel Performa3 loudspeaker's elegant enclosure is the product of a process developed and overseen by Italian luxury cabinetmakers. The enclosure even exceeds automotive-finish quality. The speaker enclosure features strategically-oriented bracing that eliminates the possibility of enclosure-induced coloration. A cloth grille hides unattractive hardware on the baffle and also minimizes diffraction and veiling.

Binding Post Terminals: The S206 surround speaker features gold-plated binding-posts that provide secure connection for speaker cables terminated with banana plugs (single only), spade lugs, pin connectors, or bare wire (up to 10AWG). You will need to remove the binding post's rubber inserts in order to use banana plugs.

Wall-Mount Bracket: Built-in mounting keyholes on the rear of the surround speaker are designed to be used with the supplied wall-mount bracket (mounting screws not included). The ideal mounting height is located at 10° to 15° above the primary listener's ears.

Applications: The Revel by Harman Performa3 S206 loudspeaker can be used as a surround and surround back speaker in 5.1 or 7.1 channel home theater setup. The loudspeaker's radiation pattern is optimized for use at 90° to the sides of the primary listening area, or placed directly behind the main listening area.
