This VII-series surge protector takes the form of a power strip, but has a sleek, durable build quality that screams high-performance component. Protect all the gear in your system — and rapidly recharge
You get six protected AC outlets, properly spaced out so that you can connect all your gear. Austere's super flexible "WovenArmor" cable ends with a right-angled plug, so that this strip can better fit into tight installations. There are also 5 protected USB charging ports so you can safely charge your phone or tablet.
You'll find two USB-A and two USB-C ports that serve up enough power to recharge your phone or tablet. But the special USB-C PD port is rated at 45W, which is enough power to charge most laptop batteries. This extra power can charge your phone and tablet faster, too.
4,000-joules of protection from spikes and surges
Their "Flameless" MOV circuits will absorb harmful electrical spikes and surges to keep them away from your gear. Each outlet and all the internal circuitry is thermally protected to help prevent electrical fires.
Austere's VII-series power strip offers the company's best power protection — a 4,000 joules rating. The outlets are also isolated from each other to avoid noise and cross-talk between your connected gear. An LED display lets you keep an eye on the status of your protection, ground wiring, and incoming power.

Brushed Aluminum Housing: The Austere Power surge protector features a brushed aluminum housing that is both lightweight and durable.
LED Indicators: LED indicators on the 7S-PS6-US1 surge protector indicate Power, Ground, and Protection.
- The Power LED will illuminated Blue when the surge protector is receiving AC power.
- The Ground LED will illuminate Blue when the unit is properly grounded.
- The Protected LED will illuminate Blue to indicate that the unit is providing full surge protection.
Mounting Options: The 7S-PS6-US1 surge protector can simply be placed on the floor or shelf. It can also be mounted to a wall or piece of furniture using the integrated key-hole slots (mountings screws not provided).
