Features

Overview: The Cooling Fan CF-R20EP attaches to the bottom of the Canon EOS R5 Mark II camera. Its multi-speed fan helps to keep the camera cool in extreme conditions and during challenging photography sessions. Like similar battery grips, the CF-R20EP holds up to two LP-E6P battery packs, esentially doubling its battery capacity. It also includes an RJ-45 Ethernet port for connecting to a wired LAN for lightning fast tethered shooting. When installed, the CF-R20EP adds approximately 2" to the overall height of the camera.

Note: The CF-R20EP does not have camera controls for vertical (portrait) shooting. No batteries are included.

Installation: Before installation, the battery and battery compartment cover should be removed from the camera body. The CF-R20EP then slides into the battery compartment and mounts to the bottom of the camera, held in place by threading the attachment screw into the camera's tripod insert. An additional tripod insert is provided on the bottom of the grip, so you can still use a tripod or monopod. One or two LP-E6P batteries can be installed in the battery grip. When two batteries are installed in the battery grip, power is supplied simultaneously from both batteries, effectively doubling the battery life.

Battery Compatibility: The CF-R20EP is compatible with the following batteries:

LP-E6N

Note: The cooling fan is also compatible with the DR-E6P and DR-E6 DC Couplers.

Camera Compatibility: The CF-R20EP is compatible with the EOS R5 Mark II only. It cannot be attached to the EOS R5, EOS R6, or EOS R6 Mark II.
