Great Focus and zoom
Chris from Craig, AK on 4/23/2018
Perhaps I am fortunate that I haven't had a dust problem yet. I took the lens, as my only lens, to an outing in Utah and Arizona. Beautiful focus and color for the sandstone formations and the wide angle shot well for the landscapes. Ended up zooming to 55mm for an unexpected sighting of big horn sheep. Although it appears as a small white dot on my viewfinder, I was able to focus on that and then when I shot and looked at my photos and zoomed in, I was pleased. I tried this lens as practice on shooting indoor basketball; it worked better than my nearly three times as expensive 70-200. My only complaint is that one would think for this price point, a lens hood would be thrown in rather than offered as a separate purchase.
Pros: Comparatively light
Cons: Doesn't come with a hood.

Nice lens from Canon, but dust gets inside very easy.
Cris from PALATINE, IL on 3/4/2018
Nice lens, but short after I start using, I noticed big chunk of dust on the lens, on the inside. How is even possible for an expensive lens? I have to open it but I am not lens repair profesional, I do have to pay a lot for cleaning and I think it is under warranty. I wish I could return this lens for something else.
Pros: Good quality lens
Cons: Gets dust easy inside, no way to clean it. I do not recommend this product, CANON need to go back to drawing board, what about electrostatic cleaner? Think about.
