Not ready for prime time

I've tried to use it once thus far and the experience was so disappointing that I'm strongly considering returning it. The App is terrible, the QR code on the box gets you the wrong one, the camera is very slow to respond to commands, and it often focuses on inanimate objects rather than faces. I expected a lot more from Canon and for my $500 investment.
