Great DSLR for a Beginner
Abner from Suwanee, GA on 7/23/2023
For the price this is a great camera for a beginner, I am still exploring all of the features and it appears to have most of the features of more expensive cameras. Does not have the same video capability of the more expensive models but I did not buy it for video. I do wish the lens that came with it had a lower F-stop, so as I learn more I will invest in better lens, but I am happy with the camera and the price I paid.

Canon EOS Rebel T7 Kit
Lois from Sherwood, MI on 4/17/2022
The Rebel T7 is an excellent camera, enough camera to be used professionally and also user-friendly enough for beginners. I like the ease of operation of being able to switch between manual and automatic features without always navigating through the menu. It is similar to my Rebel XS, which I replaced. It fits all my current lenses and is only slightly larger in size. The live view is an excellent new feature so I can tell exactly what my image looks like before shooting so it makes it easy to tweak the settings if need be. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product.
Pros: The Canon T7 is an excellent crossover camera, one that is easy to use for amateur photographers as well as one that has all the features needed for professional use.
Cons: The only con that I can think of is it would be nice to be able to buy just the camera body without the 18-55mm lens, as most of us photographers already have that. I wish it were offered as a kit and a also as a stand alone product.

Good choice for Canon veterans
Crutchfield customer from Toledo, OH on 10/6/2021
As a long-time photographer who has abandoned the film cameras, the EOS Rebel is quite a change. Sometimes it feels like I'm starting over, but a lot of the new camera's operations are intuitive. Part of my dilemma was deciding between a DSLR and a mirrorless. The Rebel is a better choice for me because I had two older Canon EF lenses from my 35mm Rebel that work with the new camera and thus saved some coin.
Pros: Easy to operate and light weight.
Cons: I haven't found any yet
