ADH (Analog Digital Hybrid) Amplification: A Devialet-patented technology, ADH (Analog Digital Hybrid) gives you all the sophistication of Class A analog with all the power and compactness of Class D digital. The best of both worlds for amplification of unparalleled clarity and transparency, whatever the volume. The Devialet Phantom I 108dB is equipped with a 1100 watt (RMS) amplifier.

SAM (Speaker Active Matching): Devialet invented SAM (Speaker Active Matching) mathematical model to ensure immaculate fidelity all throughout playback. Whether you're dealing with transients or steady-state signal, the degree of information processed by SAM surpasses anything previously thought possible. This enables Phantom I 108dB to reproduce the exact rhythm and tempo of your music with absolute precision. So you can feel every last emotion, true to the original. The Devaialet Phantom I 108dB is equipped with a single front-mounted dome tweeter and two opposite side-firing woofers.

HBI (Heart Bass Implosion): HBI (Heart Bass Implosion) is a one-of-a-kind system, designed to take you deeper into sound. For the first time, an ultra-compact home speaker is able to reproduce ridiculously low bass that resonates beyond the limits of the human ear, throughout your entire body. ACE (Active Cospherical Engine): ACE (Active Cospherical Engine) is the technology responsible for the Phantom I 108dB 's radical spherical architecture. Drawing on Olson's pulsating sphere principle, the Phantom I 108dB dramatically optimizes the way sound waves form and spread - evenly and in all directions. The result is perfectly balanced audio and zero surface diffraction, wherever you are in the room.

EVO Platform: The Phantom I 108dB utilizes Devialet's EVO platform allowing for hassle-free, wireless firmware and software updates through the Devialet Phantom App on your compatible Apple iOS or Android device over your home's WiFi network.

Mounting Options: The Devialet I 108dB should be placed on a stable flat surface. It should sit between 17.75"and 35.5" high so its at early level when you are seated. It should also be positioned 11.8125" from the wall, to reinformace the low-frequency sound. If in a stereo set-up, place the speakers between 4.9375' and 8.25' apart and angle the speakers inward 35-degrees.

Connections

Wired or Wireless Network Connection: The Devialet Phantom I 108dB offers wired (Ethernet) and wireless (WiFi) network connectivity. The wireless speaker features built-in 2.4/5GHz dual-band WiFi (802.11ac). If you choose to connect the speaker system to your network via a wired Ethernet connection, you'll still need a wireless WiFi router to access your local network stored music libraries via UPnP, stream Apple iOS music via AirPlay, and listen to your favorite music playlists on Spotify.

AirPlay 2: AirPlay 2 is an advanced and easy-to-use wireless multiroom audio platform for iTunes, Apple Music, and other compatible Apple iOS apps. With AirPlay 2 you can play any sound from your Apple iOS device (running iOS 11.4 or later) or Mac computer (running OS X 10.13.2) on the Phantom I 108dB and other compatible AirPlay 2 speakers throughout your home. You will also be able to ask Siri-enabled devices (like your Apple iPhone, iPad, or Watch) to control playback of your Apple Music on the Phantom I 108dB . You can choose to play audio in one room, play the same audio in grouped rooms, or play the same audio in every room. If you are an Apple Music subscriber, you can even play different music in different rooms (you can control and group directly from Apple's Music App and Home app on your Apple iOS device). You can even watch videos and movies from YouTube and Netflix on your compatible Apple iOS device or Mac computer with perfectly synced audio on the Devialet Phantom I 108dB .

Spotify Connect: The Devialet Phantom I 108dB also incorporates Spotify Connect. If you subscribe to Spotify Premium , you can play all of your Spotify music and playlists, plus control the volume and playback with the Spotify Connect app on your Apple iOS or Android device.

UPnP (Universal Plug-n-Play): The Phantom I 108dB is UPnP compatible, which enables you to play your digital music library stored on UPnP servers (such as a network server with integrated UPnP software,Windows PC, or Mac OS X computer) through the Phantom I 108dB speaker system. You can stream a variety of compressed, lossless, and high-res music files. UPnP file browsing can be carried out using the Devialet Phantom App (for Apple iOS and Android). The Phantom I 108dB supports streaming digital music files up to 24-bit/48kHz. Supported music file formats include - MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, WMA, and Ogg Vorbis.

Roon Ready: Roon is a feature rich music library and playback application that compiles all the music files available to your network and makes them easily available to play across the Phantom I 108dB speaker system and other Roon enabled audio devices. Roon manages digital music files (including FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, and DSD) collected on hard drives and networked storage. It can also access your iTunes library, and optionally integrate with the Tidal music streaming service. Roon is available for mobile, laptop or desktop devices. When you open the Roon app, it will display your complete audio library together with its metadata and artwork along with the Phantom I 108dB and all other Roon enabled devices. Simply select the music you wish to play and the Phantom I 108dB or Roon device in which you want to hear it on.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming: Built-in Bluetooth allows you to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer to the Devialet Phantom I 108dB speaker system. You'll continue to control playback functions and view song/artist/album information from your Bluetooth source device. You can pair multiple Bluetooth devices with the speaker system, but only one can be connected and used for playback at a time. The unit supports SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs (not compatible with aptX).

Optical Digital Input: The Devialet Phantom I 108dB speaker system is outfitted with an optical (toslink) digital input that supports 2ch PCM (up to 24-bit/192kHz). Its not compatible with multichannel formats such as Dolby Digital or DTS.

Detachable AC Power Cord: The Phantom I 108dB comes with a detachable AC power cord that plugs into the back of the speaker and into an AC power outlet or surge protector (sold separately - see Accessories Tab). The speaker system is not battery powered.

Controls

Remote Control: The included remote provides wireless operation of the Devialet Phantom I 108dB speaker system.

• Pairing: The remote will need to be paired with your compatible Devialet Phantom Series speaker. It will wirelessly pair and connect with only one compatible Devialet Phantom speaker at a time..
• Controls: Control functions include Volume Up/Down, Play/Pause, and Previous/Next Track. The Volume Up/Down function consists of a scroll wheel, while the Play/Pause and Previous/Next Track functions consist of capacitive touch buttons.
• Battery Powered: The remote features a built-in battery. It is outfitted with a microUSB port and comes with a 19" microUSB-to-USB cable to charge the battery via a USB/AC power adapter (sold separately).

Devialet Phantom App: The Devialet Phantom App (for Apple iOS 11.0+ and Android OS 5.0+) allows you to setup and control the Devialet Phantom I 108dB from your compatible smartphone or tablet device. Initial network and speaker setup is done through the Devialet Phantom app. You'll be able access your local network music, as well as control volume and playback functions from a compatible Apple iOS or Android OS device. You can also control single room and multiroom playback.

• Single-Zone Play: Play music on a single Devialet wireless speaker in one room.
• Individual Play: Individual Play allows you to listen to different music on multiple Devialet wireless speakers in different rooms.
• Multi-Zone Play: Multi-Zone Play allows you to group multiple Devialet wireless speakers and listen to the same music in different rooms.
