Connections

Wired or Wireless Network Connection: The Devialet Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris offers wired (Ethernet) and wireless (WiFi) network connectivity. The wireless speaker features built-in 2.4/5GHz dual-band WiFi (802.11ac). If you choose to connect the speaker system to your network via a wired Ethernet connection, you'll still need a wireless WiFi router to access your local network stored music libraries via UPnP, stream Apple iOS music via AirPlay, and listen to your favorite music playlists on Spotify.

AirPlay 2: AirPlay 2 is an advanced and easy-to-use wireless multiroom audio platform for iTunes, Apple Music, and other compatible Apple iOS apps. With AirPlay 2 you can play any sound from your Apple iOS device (running iOS 11.4 or later) or Mac computer (running OS X 10.13.2) on the Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris and other compatible AirPlay 2 speakers throughout your home. You will also be able to ask Siri-enabled devices (like your Apple iPhone, iPad, or Watch) to control playback of your Apple Music on the Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris. You can choose to play audio in one room, play the same audio in grouped rooms, or play the same audio in every room. If you are an Apple Music subscriber, you can even play different music in different rooms (you can control and group directly from Apple's Music App and Home app on your Apple iOS device). Spotify Connect: The Devialet Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris also incorporates Spotify Connect. If you subscribe to Spotify Premium , you can play all of your Spotify music and playlists, plus control the volume and playback with the Spotify Connect app on your Apple iOS or Android device.

UPnP (Universal Plug-n-Play): The Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris is UPnP compatible, which enables you to play your digital music library stored on UPnP servers (such as a network server with integrated UPnP software,Windows PC, or Mac OS X computer) through the Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris speaker system. You can stream a variety of compressed, lossless, and high-res music files. UPnP file browsing can be carried out using the Devialet Phantom App (for Apple iOS and Android). The Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris supports streaming digital music files up to 24-bit/48kHz. Supported music file formats include - MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, WMA, and Ogg Vorbis.

Roon Ready: Roon is a feature rich music library and playback application that compiles all the music files available to your network and makes them easily available to play across the Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris speaker system and other Roon enabled audio devices. Roon manages digital music files (including FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, and DSD) collected on hard drives and networked storage. It can also access your iTunes library, and optionally integrate with the Tidal music streaming service. Roon is available for mobile, laptop or desktop devices. When you open the Roon app, it will display your complete audio library together with its metadata and artwork along with the Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris and all other Roon enabled devices. Simply select the music you wish to play and the Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris or Roon device in which you want to hear it on.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming: Built-in Bluetooth allows you to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer to the Devialet Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris speaker system. You'll continue to control playback functions and view song/artist/album information from your Bluetooth source device. You can pair multiple Bluetooth devices with the speaker system, but only one can be connected and used for playback at a time. The unit supports SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs (not compatible with aptX).

Analog/Digital Combo Input: In addition to Network and Bluetooth connectivity, the Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris is equipped with a 3.5mm jack that can be used an analog Aux input or mini-toslink digital input. The analog/digital combo input supports 2ch PCM (up to 24-bit/192kHz). Its not compatible with multichannel formats such as Dolby Digital or DTS.

Detachable AC Power Cord: The Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris comes with a detachable AC power cord that plugs into the back of the speaker and into an AC power outlet or surge protector (sold separately - see Accessories Tab). The speaker system is not battery powered.

Controls

Top-Panel Controls: The Devialet Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris features touch-sensitive top-panel controls that allow you operate Source Input, Volume Up/Down, and Play/Pause.

Devialet Phantom App: The Devialet Phantom App (for Apple iOS 11.0+ and Android OS 5.0+) allows you to setup and control the Devialet Phantom II 98dB Opera de Paris from your compatible smartphone or tablet device. Initial network and speaker setup is done through the Devialet Phantom app. You'll be able access your local network music, as well as control volume and playback functions from a compatible Apple iOS or Android OS device. You can also control single room and multiroom playback.

• Single-Zone Play: Play music on a single Devialet wireless speaker in one room.
• Individual Play: Individual Play allows you to listen to different music on multiple Devialet wireless speakers in different rooms.
• Multi-Zone Play: Multi-Zone Play allows you to group multiple Devialet wireless speakers and listen to the same music in different rooms.
