Features
HDMI Matrix Kit: The Simplified MFG MX44KT is a 4x4 HDMI Matrix Kit that consists of one HDMI Matrix Switch and four HDBaseT Receivers, allowing you to connect HDMI sources and output them to up to 8 displays (two mirrored per output channel) with independent scaling for each output channel. The MX44KT can transmit a 1080P video signal up to 230' (70m) or a 4K video signal up to 165' (50m), along with multichannel audio over a HDMI and CAT5e/6/7 cable connection.
- HDMI Matrix Switch: The HDMI Matrix Switch is equipped with 4 HDMI 2.0b inputs to connect your HDMI audio/video source components, as well as 4 HDMI 2.0b outputs to connect up to 4 displays directly to the HDMI Matrix Switch. In addition, the HDMI Matrix Switch contains 4 HDBaseT RJ-45 outputs that will connect to the 4 included HDBaseT Receivers via CAT5e/6/7 cable connections. The HDMI Matrix also contains 4 IR outputs, a RS-232 phoenix port (3.5mm), and a RJ-45 LAN jack for custom remote control integration.

The HDMI Matrix Switch contains 4 HDMI inputs and 4 HDMI outputs, Each HDBaseT Receiver features a single HDMI output.
- 4K/60Hz Resolution: Supports video formats up to 4K @ 50/60Hz (YUV4:4:4), 4K @ 30Hz, 1080p @ 120Hz, and 1080P/3D @ 60Hz. It also supports 1080i, 720p, and 480i/p video.
- HDR (High Dynamic Range): Supported HDR formats include HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. Dolby Vision is only supported by the HDMI Matrix Switch and not by the HDBaseT Receivers.

- RS-232 Port: The HDMI Matrix Switch features a RS-232 phoenix port (3-pin) and comes with a 5' RS-232 to 3-pin cable for control from 3rd-party custom integration software (sold separately). The RS-232 phoenix connector (3-pin) of the cable is connected to the HDMI Matrix Switch and the RS-232 connector of the cable is connected to the RS-232 jack of an RS-232 to USB cable (not included), while the USB head of the RS-232 to USB cable (not included) is connected to your computer.
Note: There are no controls found on each of the HDBaseT receivers.
Mounting Options: The HDMI Matrix Switch can simply tabletop mounted on the shelf of a piece of AV furniture or other flat mounting surface. Brackets are included to secure the HDMI Matrix Switch to your mounting surface. The four HDBaseT Receivers can also simply be mounted on a shelf or other flat mounting surface. In addition, each HDBaseT Receiver comes with brackets to secure the device to your mounting surface or to wall-mount the unit.

The 4 HDBaseT Receivers will get power from the HDMI Matrix Switch's AC power adapter over their Cat/5e/6/7 cable connections via POE (Power over Ethernet), so they don't require separate AC power outlets.
