HDMI Matrix Kit: The Simplified MFG MX44KT is a 4x4 HDMI Matrix Kit that consists of one HDMI Matrix Switch and four HDBaseT Receivers, allowing you to connect HDMI sources and output them to up to 8 displays (two mirrored per output channel) with independent scaling for each output channel. The MX44KT can transmit a 1080P video signal up to 230' (70m) or a 4K video signal up to 165' (50m), along with multichannel audio over a HDMI and CAT5e/6/7 cable connection.

• HDMI Matrix Switch: The HDMI Matrix Switch is equipped with 4 HDMI 2.0b inputs to connect your HDMI audio/video source components, as well as 4 HDMI 2.0b outputs to connect up to 4 displays directly to the HDMI Matrix Switch. In addition, the HDMI Matrix Switch contains 4 HDBaseT RJ-45 outputs that will connect to the 4 included HDBaseT Receivers via CAT5e/6/7 cable connections. The HDMI Matrix also contains 4 IR outputs, a RS-232 phoenix port (3.5mm), and a RJ-45 LAN jack for custom remote control integration.
• 4 HDBaseT Receivers: Each HDBaseT Receiver features a single HDBaseT RJ-45 jack that receives an audio/video signal from the HDMI Matrix Switch over a CAT5e/6/7 cable connection. In addition, each HDBaseT Receiver is equipped with a single HDMI 2.0b output to connect to a TV, monitor, or display. Each HDBaseT Receiver also contains an IR input for remote control and a microUSB port for service purposes.

HDMI 2.0b Input (18Gbps): The MX44KT HDMI Matrix Kit meets HDMI 2.0b specifications with support for 18Gbps video bandwidth, 4K/60Hz video resolution, HDR (High Dynamic Range), HDCP 2.2, multichannel high-resolution audio, and HDMI CEC. The HDMI Matrix Switch contains 4 HDMI inputs and 4 HDMI outputs, Each HDBaseT Receiver features a single HDMI output.

• 4K/60Hz Resolution: Supports video formats up to 4K @ 50/60Hz (YUV4:4:4), 4K @ 30Hz, 1080p @ 120Hz, and 1080P/3D @ 60Hz. It also supports 1080i, 720p, and 480i/p video.
• HDR (High Dynamic Range): Supported HDR formats include HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. Dolby Vision is only supported by the HDMI Matrix Switch and not by the HDBaseT Receivers.
• HDCP 2.2: HDCP 2.2 is short for "High bandwidth Digital Content Protection" and is used for 4K video copyright protection for compatibility with Ultra HD Blu-ray players and 4K Satellite/Cable providers. It's also backward compatible with HDCP 1.4.
• Multichannel Audio: Supports hi-res multichannel audio formats including LPCM 2/5.1/7.1CH, Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Digital+, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X.
• HDMI CEC: Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) is a feature of HDMI designed to allow you to operate and control devices connected through HDMI by using only one remote control.

HDBaseT Certified: The Simplified MFG MX44KT is HDBaseT Certified, allowing you to transmit a HDMI audio/video signal over a CAT5e/6/7 cable connection. The MX44KT can transmit a 1080P video signal up to 230' (70m) or a 4K video signal up to 165' (50m), along with multichannel audio over a HDMI and CAT5e/6/7 cable connection. The HDMI Matrix Kit includes a HDBaseT RJ-45 jack for each of its 4 outputs, while each HDBaseT Receiver includes a single HDBaseT RJ-45 jack.

Control Options: The Simplified MFG MX44KT can be controlled from the front-panel button on the HDMI Matrix Switch or the included IR remote. Front-panel controls include power on/off, as well as source selection for each output. A power LED, Source LEDs and IR receiver are also found on the front-panel. The IR remote also includes power on/off, as well as source selection for each output. Make sure to point the remote at the IR window on the front-panel of the HDMI Matrix Switch.

• IR In/Out: The Simplified MFG MFG MX44KT is outfitted with an IR inputs and IR outputs that each consist of a female 3.5mm minijack. The HDMI Matrix Switch is equipped with 4 IR outputs (one for each output channel), while each HDBaseT Receiver is equipped with a single IR input. IR (infrared) commands can be sent to and from the 4x4 HDMI Matrix Kit allowing IR to be sent from the source to the display and/or from the display to the source using the included IR transmitter cables and IR receiver cables.
• IP Control with Web GUI: The HDMI Matrix Switch contains a RJ-45 LAN jack for IP control via an innovative web GUI (graphic user interface) that can be operated from your PC - allowing you to set scaling, EDID settings, and more.
• RS-232 Port: The HDMI Matrix Switch features a RS-232 phoenix port (3-pin) and comes with a 5' RS-232 to 3-pin cable for control from 3rd-party custom integration software (sold separately). The RS-232 phoenix connector (3-pin) of the cable is connected to the HDMI Matrix Switch and the RS-232 connector of the cable is connected to the RS-232 jack of an RS-232 to USB cable (not included), while the USB head of the RS-232 to USB cable (not included) is connected to your computer.

Mounting Options: The HDMI Matrix Switch can simply tabletop mounted on the shelf of a piece of AV furniture or other flat mounting surface. Brackets are included to secure the HDMI Matrix Switch to your mounting surface. The four HDBaseT Receivers can also simply be mounted on a shelf or other flat mounting surface. In addition, each HDBaseT Receiver comes with brackets to secure the device to your mounting surface or to wall-mount the unit.

Power Requirements: The HDMI Matrix Switch comes with an external AC power adapter (with attached 57" DC cord) that will need to be plugged into an AC power outlet or surge protector (sold separately). The 4 HDBaseT Receivers will get power from the HDMI Matrix Switch's AC power adapter over their Cat/5e/6/7 cable connections via POE (Power over Ethernet), so they don't require separate AC power outlets.

microUSB Service Port: Each HDBaseT Receiver includes a microUSB port for service purposes and updating firmware.
