HDMI Matrix: The Simplified MFG VW2 is 4x4 4K/UHD (or a myriad of other resolutions) matrix switch that allows you to put four individual pictures or one single picture across 4 displays, and is thin to accommodate mounting behind your displays. The VW2 also has an intuitive web GUI for easy set up and even control of the device. The fast switching speed allows changing sources or functions to be done in a fraction of a second. The Simplified MFG VW2 lets you create video walls for hospitality and digital signage applications.
HDMI 2.0b: The Simplified MFG VW2 is outfitted with four HDMI 2.0b inputs and four HDMI 2.0b outputs that support video output and audio pass-through.
- Video Compatibility: The VW2 HDMI Matrix is HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 compliant with a 18Gbps video bandwidth. Supported video resolutions include up to 4K2K@50/60Hz,4K2K@30Hz,1080P@120Hz, and 1080P 3D@60Hz. Its compatible with RGB, YCbCR 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2, and YCbCr 4:2:0 color spacing; as well as 8, 10, and 12-bit color depths.

Video Wall Modes: There are 10 different Video Wall modes that allow for a variety of configurations and combinations of sources and how they are displayed. The Video Wall modes can be sets using the included remote control, RS232 commands, or Web GUI (not from front-panel). Video Wall Modes include 2x2, 1x2-2, 1x2, 2x1-2, 2x1, 1x3, 3x1, 4x1, 1x4, 3x1, 4x1, and Matrix.
Advanced EDID Management: The VW2 Matrix has 12 factory defined EDID settings, 2 user-defined EDID modes, and 4 copy EDID modes. You can select defined EDID mode or copy EDID mode to input port through RS232 control or Web GUI (not manageable from front-panel or remote control). Remote Control: The Simplified MFG VW2 HDMI Matrix can be operated via the front-panel buttons, included IR remote control, as well as RS232 and IP.
- Front-Panel: Front-panel controls include Power on/off and HDMI input selection (1-4) for each of the unit's HDMI outputs (1-4).
- IR Remote: The IR remote offers Power on/off, HDMI input selection (1-4), HDMI output selection (1-4), Video Wall Modes, Resolution, and Info control functions. The remote is powered by a CR2025 3V battery (not included and sold separately). If the IR receiver on the front-panel is blocked, you can connect the included IR receiver to the IR input (3.5mm) on back of the Matrix to allow for IR remote control operation.
- RS232: The Simplified MFG VW2 features a rear-panel RS232 port (3-pin) that allows the HDMI Matrix to be controlled via RS232 commands from your PC.
- IP: A rear-panel Ethernet jack (RJ45) allows the VW2 to be connected to your local network router, so it can be controlled via a WEG GUI on your PC.
Mounting Options: The Simplified MFG VW2 can simply be tabletop mounted on piece of AV furniture, shelf, or other flat mounting surface. It can also be mounted on the wall behind your video displays using the included mounting brackets and hardware (wall-mount screws not included and sold separately).
Power Requirements: The included AC power adapter plugs into the back of the Simplified MFG VW2 HDMI Matrix and into an AC power wall outlet or surge protector/line-conditioner (sold separately).
