Decided to replace the Five Stock speakers in my 2022 Badlands two door Bronco. These speakers were recommended on several Bronco owners websites. Very happy with the results. Middle front speaker was a pain but other than that all went well

Huge improvement in 2024 Lexus IS 350 F Sport

After talking to product support, I was talked into these instead of the AudioFrogs they were 4x as much money, that I was happy to pay for better sound. The system in my new 2024 Lexus IS 350 F Sport is the base system and it is horrible. I've got a full system with Type-X components and subwoofer with Hertz Milli Legend mids in my other car, so the Lexus sounded terrible in comparison. Well, I bought these Hertz DCX100.3 and dropped them into the corner dash in place of the OEM speakers. They have been very impressive, with a wide range that stays crisp. I'd even go as far as saying these little coaxle speakers have more thump than the factory sub in this car. Definitely worthwhile on upgrading, and have already added a JL Audio 8W3v3-4 sub powered by an Audio Control ACM-300, and it's getting real close to where i want this system to be. Overall, would absolutely recommend.

98 Chevy Single Cab

These Hertz DCX 100s are great 4" for the rear pillar. Install wasn't terrible the adaptor plate was really helpful. I just wish that they came with some mounting screws for the adaptor plate since the Chevys use this dumb screw that screws into a push pin. I've had these for about a week wired to a Pioneer GM-DX874. As long as you set your gains properly these speakers handle the mids beautifluy.

BANG 4 BUCK

Definition of BANG for your BUCK! Used these to replace the Kickers in my tailgate speaker system. Improved volume, clarity, and bass response. Recently tested them in 100 degree + heat for three + hours and they performed flawlessly .

Fits in Mercedes R107 cars!

It DOES fit perfectly in Mercedes R107 cars, in contrary to the Crutchfield guidelines. Sound is great. Good bass for 4 inch speakers.

Highly recommend

The sound is clear and the base is acceptable for "normal people". I coupled it with an amplified subwoofer box from JBL.

2024 Bronco

Replaced all three dash speakers and the rear pod speakers with the DCX 100.3. Really impressed with how they opened up the soundstage in the vehicle. Given their high sensitivity, they are actually louder than the OEM speakers.

Big Punch for Small Upgrade

Replacing the two corner speakers on my dash with these made a world of difference. These are some great speakers with a lot of punch...gave me the bass I was missing and the music doesn't sound as distorted as it use too no matter the volume...good speakers for a small upgrade when u don't want to spend a lot but want to hear a difference

Perfect Upgrade!!!

So i previously had the Focal 4 inch speakers.......I decide to upgrade to the Hertz after doing some research. I cannot be more pleased with the results. Better clarity, better lows, better imaging and a more consistent sound across different music genres. Love it and very happy with the improvement in sound quality. I HIGHLY recommend these speakers :)

Installed in right and left front and rear on 2023 bronco with b&o. Sound is amazing, loud nice and crisp compared to stock. Middle speaker I replaced with prv midrange speaker and kicker panels I used Polk 6.5 speakers. Much improved!

Bronco refit

Great sounding speaker, good bass fill to accompany the sub and great clarity. Changed out 4 corner (B&O) speakers in my Bronco.

The detail and clarity are simply amazing for the price. Slap an amplifier on it and they simply explode with instrumental details you never heard before. :) Totally awesome speakers

What an improvement

I bought these as replacements for my 2000 Rodeo after all these years. They fit PERFECT and sound fantastic. I did take the opportunity to add a couple s/f of sound deadening material to the inside of the speaker openings. All in all, quite an improvement. Apparently Crutchfield sends things 2nd day air. I got the speakers in just a couple days in well protected packaging.

So far so good in a 2021 Bronco

Swapped all of the B&O 4" speakers on my 2021 Bronco with these. Loving them so far. I didn't use crossovers or anything. These have a richer sound and I feel like distinguish vocals from music, plus have more depth.

Hertz 4" Coaxial speakers

Outstanding sound quality from a 4" speaker. I have this speaker paired to a Hertz HCP 4 4 Channel amp and the sound output is precise with a great soundstage. Highly recommended if clarity and imaging are important to your music.

Good not great

Fit great in Lexus es350 2017 dash. Sounds ok, being dash speakers they are not going to be super loud anyway. Easy install. Took longer to find tools. Sounds better than factory speakers.

Herts pillar speakers

Installed in 87' Fiero GT approximately 6 months ago. Powered by Retrosound head unit. Car only driven on the weekends in pretty weather. Passenger side speaker started have some static a couple of weeks ago. It has gotten progressively worse. Speaker sounds busted. Extremely disappointed

New fit information for 2000 M Roadster Harmon Kardon equipped.

Good news! This is an exact replacement for the 2000 M Roadster Harmon Kardon rear speakers if you have those that have their own grill which pops off allowing removal from the front. The clearance of the plastic around the voice coil is tight, possibly necessitating turning the speaker "upside down" so the terminals are on the top rather than bottom. The colors on the leads are not what is specified in the repair manual. Same color scheme on right and left, so probably pigtails from a connector that can't be seen. Polarity is clearly marked on the old speakers so follow that. Picture included is how I carefully soldered the new connections.

Installed in rear doors of 2003 Subaru WRX. A bit disappointed in these. The basket is rather thin and flimsy and doesn't cover the cut-out. The stock speakers have a bigger, sturdier basket. see picture, that completely covers the cut-out. The new ones just have ears that stick out, technically making it a 4-inch speaker but leaving a gap. I dug around and found some spare vacuum tubing and cut some slots in it to fit around the ears and close the gap, see picture. A kluge that should not have been necessary. I'll eventually build a proper bracket. They sounded downright awful at startup but eventually broke in after about 8 hours. They sound okay now but not as good as hoped. I even replaced one with the stock speaker for comparison. The Hertz speaker was more dynamic and had a bit more resolution but was surprisingly not very good at voices, sounding hollow and boxy. The stock speaker sounded better. I should have considered the wisdom of replacing a four inch speaker that wasn't broken.
