Invest in 3-way component sound
Some things are worth indulging in, and the enjoyment of your daily drive is one of them. Install the Mille Series MPK 163.3 Pro 6-1/2" 3-way component speaker system in your vehicle and you'll experience the very best of what Hertz has to offer: a passionate approach to premium sound.
For more impactful lows, each speaker employs a "Boundary Free" rubber surround with its enhanced pressed pulp and cotton fiber woofer to move more air with accuracy. The woofer's V-cone design improves dispersion and helps provides lows you can feel. The included 3" driver uses the same technology and materials to bolster the midrange with a pristine sound. Superior damping is also key to the sound of these speakers — minimized resonance reduces distortion for a truer-to-life sound.
Included crossovers contribute to the impressive low-frequency response of the woofer, the extensive coverage of the midrange driver, and to a smooth transition to the Tetolon dome tweeter. Hertz builds in tweeter and midrange level controls so you can adjust the mids and highs to match your system.
The Hertz philosophy
Hertz believes that a good speaker should reveal the emotional power of the music you love. That's a high bar, but with their commitment to using premium components and boundary-pushing design, they're more than up to challenge. Comprised of music lovers, Hertz is committed to optimizing your car's sound system for total audio enjoyment.

Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including Hertz, call this size woofer a 6-1/2". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6-1/2" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size as a 6-3/4". Please enter you vehicle information to confirm fit in your vehicle.
Boundary Free Surround: This technology provides more woofer cone surface area than other speakers of the same size, enabling it to move more air. The surrounds are made of rubber, ensuring thermal and mechanical linearity.
Klippel Verified: The Klippel distortion analyzer, a device that uses a laser and computer software to do large-scale analysis of drivers in motion, helps Hertz optimize the speaker's motor structure, voice coil alignment, and suspension to yield the best possible performance.
Grilles: The three piece woofer and midrange grilles can be used several different ways. All three pieces (black plastic frame, gray plastic inner grill, and black steel mesh) can be mounted together. The frame and mesh can be mounted without the inner grille, the frame and inner grille can be mounted without the mesh, and the inner grille can be mounted alone.
Tweeter Mounting: Brackets are included for flush mounting, angled surface mounting (60° or 30°), and mounting behind the factory grille.
Tweeter Mounting Dimensions:
|Flush Mount||60° Angled Surface Mount||30° Angled Surface Mount||Top Mount (behind factory grille)||Bottom Mount (behind factory grille)|
|Cutout Diameter||1.605"||N/A||N/A||1.306" (minimum)||1.798" (minimum)|
Crossovers: Each crossover has midrange and tweeter output level switches; independently choose between flat and +2dB for each. The low pass crossover point is 450 Hz with a 6 dB/octave slope. The band pass output is 450 Hz to 5.5 kHz with a 6 dB/octave slope at both ends. The high pass crossover point is 5.5 kHz with a 12 dB/octave slope. They have screw terminal inputs and outputs that will accept bare wire or spade connectors up to 0.315" wide.
