I am a fan of Italian made speaker because of the musicality that they have, FBT, Lavoce' and RCF just to name a few. The specs on these are very modest because I measured them at over 800 watts RMS for an extended period of time, 2 hours at 80% volume and these subs didn't even break a sweat @80hz although I normally play them set to 110hz. You have to listen to these RCF 705AS-MK3s' to really appreciate what you get for your money. Clean, punchy lows that are fast and transient. Light weight and durable. And they get earth shaking loud for a unit it's size and price. The Yamaha DXS15 hits a bit harder and louder but it is also bigger and heavier. One of these can fit in the back seat of a small car and rock a mid-sized venue with plenty headroom to spare. I have 2 of these for my small set up and I am very pleased with the performance of these subs. Hard to beat at this price for portability and sheer awesomeness! I get a lot of compliments on how good my rig sounds even when I play it close to max these little giants hold their composure. What a bargain!
