Samsung QN43Q60D
Michael from Laughlintown, PA on 7/2/2025
The Samsung TV is everything advertised and what I hoped for. The only negative was, as others commented, a challenging setup. No written instructions, manual needed downloaded, which I did but that wasn't very helpful. TV has powerful processing built in, so I hoped it would then guide me through a simple setup procedure. It did not. Ultimately I got where I needed to be despite a stripped-down remote that might have adequate functions , but are hidden in a combination of button pushes that are difficult to remember. All in all, its done, so hopefully just enjoying the TV is all that is ahead!
Pros: Great picture and good sound for a small TV.
Cons: Nothing intuitive about operating the remote. No hard controls on the TV itself.

Samsung QN32Q60D Review
David from Bedford, TX on 3/17/2025
I just have a few thoughts on our recent Samsung QN32Q60D TV purchase: -You should install Samsung's SmartThings app on your phone/tablet/computer before the initial TV setup. The app will simplify and automate a great deal of the setup process. -The included remote uses solar energy to recharge itself and it can be recharged with a USB type C adapter; surprisingly, an adapter is not included with the TV, but you can pick one up for less than $10 -On initial setup the TV had Intelligent Mode set to 'on'. When this feature is turned on, the TV, amongst other things, attempts to optimize the TV brightness based on lighting conditions and content. In our experience the TV image was much too dark for our liking. Switching this feature to 'off' allowed us to select a Picture Mode we preferred.
Pros: Good Home Screen layout and navigation Straightforward setup Good wifi connectivity & stability Many connectivity options available
Cons: USB C adaptor not included Pricey for a 32" TV

Overdue Replacement/Upgrade
Clinton from Salina, KS on 3/5/2025
Replaced a 16 year-old Sony Bravia that was exhibiting vertical stripes of death. The Samsung is so much better in every way. Brighter, lighter, much more energy efficient. Relatively easy to set up. Integrates nicely with my Amazon Fire TV cube, AirTV Anywhere and ZVOX Sound Base. I am very pleased with the advisor who recommended the Samsung as well as Crutchfield itself. I purchased a VESA mount pedestal stand to replace the stock legs. Everything looks and works great!

Great Starter for Budget Theatre and TV rooms!
Albert E. from HEIDELBERG, MS on 3/4/2025
I like its picture and features, but the edge-lit white can be seen on the edges on real Black/Dark screens. The TV is a great buy for the price point and has that Samsung Quality. I wish I had gotten the 75-inch for my Theater, but the 65-inch was complicated enough for mounting and delivery!
Pros: Great picture for price range, Great connectivity, Great Operating system, Feature packed! and Slim frame design.
Cons: Blacks are not totally black on dark scenes, edge-lit wash-out in some black/dark points in movies / TV shows!

Great Picture!!
Frank from Easthampton, MA on 2/27/2025
The new Samsung QN32Q60D is in one word, FANTASTIC! On powering up the set, it is very fast and responsive with no delays. The picture is beyond words and is just a pleasure to watch. My Crutchfield advisor, Carson did a great job in answering all my questions and concerns. The shopping experience was excellent as all my experiences have been at Crutchfield and just as good if not better than when I bought the Sony TV that this Samsung QN32Q60D was replacing when I bought the Sony from Crutchfield back in 2010!

Straight forward set-up. The issue with Samsung's need for an "account" can be an issue even if one already has one, which may or may not be recognized with the new TV. A conversation with a "chat room " person may be required! Picture quality is satisfactory and sound also , bearing in mind the price point of this unit.
Pros: Satisfactory picture and sound quality.
Cons: Needs to be manually set-up for your particular viewing environment.

O. K. TV for the price
George from Hueytown, AL on 2/3/2025
I installed and set the TV up 2 days ago, can't really comment on it right now. It turned on and it is working. It replaced another Samsung TV that crashed while we were watching it a few weeks ago. We had that TV for about 4 years. If not for Crutchfield's policy of lifetime support I would have bought something other than Samsung. I attempted to communicate with Samsung's service department right after I bought the TV that died recently. I finally gave up and got an answer to my problem elsewhere. I contacted Samsung, while setting this TV up, to assist with getting with an issue with the serial number being rejected resolved. I gave up and found the answer on YouTube. While our other TV was working we were happy with it. With this TV, and Crutchfield in the background, I gave it 4 stars.
Pros: Good picture and easy to set up
Cons: Samsung's after sale service.

Cons: Initial set up was not completely intuitive

Seems like a great TV. I am just having a hard time figuring out how to use it. It does NOT send you a booklet or a set of instructions to understand how everything works. I am 76 years old and our age people have a REAL hard time trying to understand how and what to do step-by-step.
Pros: Don't know yet
Cons: I wish there was an Instruction Pamphlet that came with the TV. I am taking forever to find out some things on my own.

Performs as advertised with easy setup features. This is our third Samsung TV. One is older than the hills and still running strong. We recently purchased two new ones. One being this 43" version and the other a 55" version. We like them both for their overall performance. The only drawback is the size of the remote. We prefer a larger size for ease of use. We are adjusting to it, but it is going to take a while.
Pros: Easy to set up. Home screen customization options.
Cons: Remote is very small and can be difficult to use.

I needed a TV to replace a 75" LG that only lasted 5 years so I bought one from the local big box store (70" samsung...wanted to stay away from LG because of longevity issues). Had no problems with that one except for I didn't realize it didn't have optical connection for a non-hdmi connection receiver. So I decided to order the QN70 from Crutchfield that has the optical connection. The first TV arrived damaged (my neighbor saw the UPS freight guy lift the TV above his head to carry down my 500' driveway...which I am assuming caused the damage to the screen. Top right corner of screen had about 6 inches of nothing but red and green lines of pixels). Crutchfield was awesome in sending out another one right away. This one I plugged in while still partially inside the box to see if there were problems and didn't see any. Me and another person lifted the TV to put on a wall mount and when I plugged it in, the TV had the same type of damage on the top...except more towards the top center. So evidently the screen is very sensitive to any type of pressure. The problem is you need to balance the TV while mounting it. I ordered a different model Samsung from a local store again and had no problems with it. The QN70Q60D is probably not a good option for a wall mount. Crutchfield was great in the returns and I don't blame them for the issues that I had to deal with...I blame samsung.

TV picture and sound are outstanding. I have always bought Samsung TVs in recent years and I'm not disappointed. Big step above the Samsung I retired for this one. I would have rated five stars but the remote is difficult to get used to although not as bad as some have written. It is very easy to accidentally hit the mute button or change the channel when handling the remote or hit while lying on the counter. My cat has hit the mute several times. Also, entering channel numbers is cumbersome and often results in keying errors. I would prefer a little bit bigger remote with channel numbers on the face. This is just me but I also do not like the Disney, Prime Video, etc buttons. I don't use these services and I don't like being subjected to the marketing.
Pros: Picture and sound quality
Cons: Remote functions

The TV itself is OK, I guess, but setting it up without a smart phone was near impossible. The cute little manikin giving instruction may as well have been speaking Korean and the on-screen directions weren't much better. The default picture needed to be adjusted -- we had to consult a technician to navigate the menu. The "simplified" instruction paper was all but useless -- we had to use a magnifying glass to read it. Geo.

This is a first-rate TV. The physical set-up is not difficult. Re-establishing external devices (e.g. a dvd player) is simple, but re-establishing streaming services, especially those for which there is no icon displayed by the tv, is difficult, although that is finally not a Samsung matter. Excellent light and shadow in HDR10+
Dan from Northwestern Pa. on 6/24/2024
The Samsung 43 inch is an excellent buy. Another reviewer said there was a problem it being too dark of a picture. This was probably due to a light sensor on the bottom edge of the TV automatically adjusting for a lamp or source of light in the same room too close of a distance. There are sources of HDR10+ movies online that take advantage of this TV's set capabilities . I elected to buy a stand to raise the TV close to 12 inches off the furniture it's on. No regrets regardless of an unusual solar cell powered remote also charges with usb c cable.

This is my second Samsung TV (the first was in use for almost 15 years) and I'm very pleased overall. Yes, you have to get the hang of the remote (why didn't Samsung just include instructions?), but if you're computer savvy, you can get the hang of all the features in the first day or so. There are some odd quirks (such as my connected Blu-ray player occasionally turning on automatically with the TV), but no major flaws.

Nice clear picture in a small TV. Had to make some adjustments to the picture because this is in a bright room. The menu navigation could be better for us mere mortals. Because the screen is small the cables plugged in the back stick out a bit on the side of the unit unless you manage them with a couple of cable ties. Works fine with Roku or the Samsung app for streaming. The included remote has a solar cell on the back to power it. You need to flip it once in a while to keep it alive.
