QLED TV: Samsung's QLED TV utilizes Quantum Dots along with Samsung's Q4 AI Processor to produce an immerse viewing experience with a wide range of color, exceptional contrast, and accurate detail. Quantum Dots are nano-sized, cadmium-free, finely tuned particles that turn light into the brilliant billion plus colors you experience on QLED TVs. Quantum dots are inorganic particles that resist wear out, so you can enjoy superb picture quality for years. As some TVs age, you may see that colors are less vibrant. QLED TVs are built to last and provide a vibrant picture even after long periods of time. Samsung's metal alloy quantum dot pixels feature inorganic materials that are engineered for durability and resistance to fading.
- 100% Color Volume: Samsung QLED TV delivers 100% color volume with over a billion shades of color (powered by Quantum Dots). QLED TVs with 100% Color Volume deliver a brilliant visual experience by providing a rejuvenating effect for colors that may appear dull or faded in challenging content. QLED televisions can produce 100% color volume in the DCI-P3 color space, the format for most cinema screen and HDR movies for television. By definition, Color Volume is an index of how well colors are reproduced in richness and accuracy at different brightness. With higher color volume, you get a wider, more diverse range of color that feels rejuvenated at higher brightness levels.
- Dual LED with Supreme UHD Dimming: The Samsung QLED TV utilizes an edge-lit Dual LED backlight system with both warm and cool LEDs that enhance contrast and detail. In addition, Supreme UHD Dimming precisely scans a number zones across the entire image and adjusts brightness to deliver even better contrast with deeper darks and brighter whites.
- Wide Viewing Angle: The QLED TV also offers a wide viewing angle and lets you see the full picture with brilliant color from almost anywhere in the room.
Note: This TV complies with the CTA 4K Ultra High-Definition Connected definition requirements. The trade organization known as the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) is considered an industry authority on engineering standards for consumer electronics in the United States. Visit www.cta.tech for more information.
NQ4 AI Processor: Samsung's latest NQ4 AI Processor utilizes AI based deep-learning analysis to analyze the signal, source, and scene-by-scene content to deliver an incredible 4K optimized experience. Whatever you watch on the QLED TV, Samsung's NQ4 AI Processor knows how to make it better through AI 4K upscaling, Color Booster, and Real Depth Enhancer technologies.
- AI Upscaling: The Samsung QLED TV has a display resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K) and will display all video at that resolution, regardless of input signal, thanks to AI upscaling. AI Upscaling delivers the complete Ultra-HD picture experience with a proprietary process including signal analysis, noise reduction, UHD upscaling, and detail enhancement to seamlessly upconvert SD, HD, or Full-HD content to Ultra-HD level picture quality.
- Color Booster Pro: Color Booster Pro enriches color expression with AI-driven scene analysis and enhanced image processing for each frame. Experience vibrant and dynamic colors as AI analyzes each scene and enhances the hues for a more vibrant viewing experience.
- Real Depth Enhancer: Real Depth Enhancer increases overall contrast and definition of the object, creating a greater sense of depth and realism. It naturally guides your eyes to focus on the object in front of you on screen, creating depth and allowing the image to truly stand out from the background.
Adaptive Light Technology: Adaptive Light technology leverages the Quantum Processor to analyze lines, shapes and surfaces to control the shape of light from the Quantum LEDs, enhancing the brightness and accuracy of all shapes on the screen. The result is outstanding image quality that puts full HDR content on display. You can choose between an Adaptive Picture or EyeComfort mode.
- Adaptive Picture: The QLED TV adapts the picture brightness in real-time. It automatically adjusts the backlight brightness of the screen by detecting the ambient light level using ambient light sensors. Whether in a sunlit living room or a darkened den, Adaptive Picture adjusts the TV to the lighting conditions around it for an amazing picture - wherever you are watching.
- EyeComfort Mode: EyeComfort mode automatically adjusts the screen's brightness and tone based on a built-in light sensor and sunset/sunrise information. As the ambient light changes, the screen will gradually reduce the amount of light and offer warmer tones, adjusting the blue light levels accordingly. This allows for a more comfortable viewing experience at night by reducing the blue light which may affect one's sleep quality.
Quantum HDR+: The Samsung QLED TV features the ability to provide a premium High Dynamic Range (HDR) experience, with a higher level of contrast between light and dark images. HDR delivers a much higher level of contrast between light and dark to produce an image that is more realistic and closer to what the content creator imagined. This increased contrast reveals the subtle nuances of the image, from detailed blacks and shadows to the brightest whites and colors, plus greater depth. Quantum HDR+ combines Samsung's QLED with Auto HDR Remastering to give you a much wider range of brightness and contrast, bringing all the picture nuances to life. As a result, you'll see richer colors that "pop", with greater dynamic range, improved contrasting detail, and darker scene highlights that come alive in stunning HDR - just as the director intended. You'll enjoy a beautiful picture, whether you're watching in a room drenched with light or with no light at all.
- Auto HDR Remastering: Auto HDR Remastering elevates your viewing experience with exceptional 4K color and contrast, using AI-based algorithms to help create brighter highlights and accurate details. You can even watch SDR content in HDR-like quality. Deep learning algorithms are used to remaster your content by converting SDR content into HDR-like quality with bright highlights, vibrant colors, and clear details.
- Supported HDR Formats: The Samsung Frame TV supports HDR10 (currently the most popular open standard HDR format), HDR10+ (offers dynamic metadata and tone mapping), and HLG (HDR for live video feed and over-the air broadcasts).
Note: This TV does not support Dolby Vision.
Four HDMI 2.1 Inputs: The Samsung QLED TV is equipped with four HDMI 2.1 inputs to connect to your Blu-ray player, Satellite/Cable receiver, Game Console, and/or AV receiver. Any HDMI input can also be used to connect a PC to this TV. All HDMI inputs are 4K/120Hz compatible, HDCP 2.3 compliant, and support 4:4:4 color subsampling. Please use a premium high speed HDMI cable with 48 Gbps and above to view 4K/120Hz video content, as well as up to 4K/144Hz PC content.
- Supported Resolutions: Supported video resolutions for all HDMI inputs include 4096x2160p, 3840x2160p, 1920x1080 (i/p), 720p, and 480 (i/p). The HDMI inputs' "Input Signal Plus" setting should be turned on if you will be watching 4K sources.
- HDCP 2.3 Compliant: HDCP 2.3 compliance on all HDMI inputs makes the TV fully compatible with the latest copyright protection standard for 4K video transmission from Ultra-HD Blu-ray players and 4K Satellite//Cable providers.
- Color Subsampling: With up to 4:4:4 (8-bit; 120Hz) or 4:4:4 (10-bit; 50/60/120Hz) color subsampling, luminance (brightness) and chroma (color) are sampled at the same rate; resulting in an RGB color palette as big as the video sampling rate for a video image with more total colors, plus greater color accuracy and detail. 4:2:2 (8/10-bit; 50/60/120Hz) and 4:2:0 (8/10-bit; 50/60/120Hz) are also supported.
Note: There are not analog video inputs.
Motion Xcelerator 144Hz: In addition to delivering smooth, fluid motion at up to 4K/120Hz, Samsung's Motion Xcelerator 144Hz takes your fast-paced content to the next level with higher refresh rates and next-gen gaming capabilities up to 144Hz for PCs. You'll never miss a thing with minimized blur and enhanced motion clarity, plus catch all the fast-moving action whether you're watching sports or taking advantage of newer Next-Gen gaming capabilities. Note: Use a 48Gbps ultra high-speed HDMI cable for 4K/120Hz and 144Hz.
AI Auto Game Mode: You can enable AI Auto Game Mode to automatically optimize the TV's settings for playing video games with a gaming console or PC. In accordance with the HGiG (HDR Gaming Interest Group) standard, the TV sets the optimal image quality for HDR games according to the brightness information of the contents. AI Auto Game Mode may bypass and disable some of the TV's video processing to allow for faster video gaming response time. You can also enable the Game Motion Plus option, which adds back in a little motion processing for smoother video motion while gaming (the video lag will be a little slower than the standard Game Mode).
- ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode): ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) automatically detects gameplay so you can enjoy faster, smoother gaming with dramatically less lag and virtually no motion blur or judder.
- VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) with FreeSync Premium: The QLED TV supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) with AMD FreeSync Premium Technology to enable a true HDR console and PC gaming experience with a combination of smooth tear- and stutter-free gaming at peak performance with stunning HDR visual fidelity and low latency. This feature is turned on automatically when the selected source is identified as a game console, like Xbox One X or Xbox One S, but must be turned on manually if the selected source is identified as PC. FreeSync will only function if it is supported by the connected device.
Super Ultra-wide GameView with Minimap Zoom: You'll be able to expand your view with multiple aspect ratios from 21:9 to 32:9 with Super Ultrawide GameView. You can even use the directional buttons and Select button on the remote control to zoom in on specific areas of the game screen and adjust the zoom rate. - Game Bar & Dynamic Black Equalizer: You can also quickly optimize game settings with an on-screen menu that lets you check input lag, FPS, HDR, wireless headset settings and more through an easy-to-access game bar. The Dynamic Black Equalizer helps you easily detect items or hidden enemies lurking in dark corners of your games by improving visibility and object details in dark scenes without washing out colors and contrast in brighter scenes.
Note: Use a 48Gbps ultra high-speed HDMI cable for optimum gaming performance.

- Picture Modes: Picture Modes apply preset adjustments to the picture. eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel): The Enhanced Audio Return Channel within the television's HDMI 2 input enables the TV, via a single HDMI cable, to send audio data "upstream" to an AV receiver; increasing user flexibility and eliminating the need for any separate S/PDIF audio connection. This feature allows audio to be sent from the television to your AV receiver through the same HDMI cable already being used to send audio/video to the television. This eliminates the need for extra cables connected to the TV. eARC allows audio from the TV tuner, Network connection, inserted USB device, or HDMI inputs connected device to be heard through your eARC compatible AV receiver via the television's HDMI eARC input.
- The audio from the TV's tuner, HDMI inputs, USB ports, and Samsung TV apps can pass as Dolby Atmos (via Dolby Digital Plus), Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, or 2ch PCM.

If your AV receiver or soundbar only supports ARC (Audio Return Channel), audio playback will be limited to Dolby Digital or 5.1ch/2ch PCM.
- DLNA compliant devices will only output audio at 2ch PCM only. DTS multichannel audio formats are not supported.
Optical Digital Output: The TV's optical digital output terminal will output Dolby Digital (when available) or 2ch PCM. The digital optical output terminal only sends an audio signal in Dolby Digital when receiving Dolby Digital surround sound from a digital broadcast channel through the tuner, network apps, HDMI inputs, or USB ports. When the TV's optical digital output is selected, the TV's speakers are muted. DTS multichannel audio formats are not supported.

You can choose to have the TV speakers play at the same time as your Bluetooth headphones or speaker, or you can turn the TV speakers completely off. The TV's audio outputs and HDMI eARC will be deactivated when streaming audio to Bluetooth headphones or speaker. While listening to audio from your Bluetooth source device, visual video effects that change according to the genre and beat of the music will be displayed on the TV screen (known as Music Wall); or you can activate Ambient mode's built-in artwork (you cannot watch TV or video, while listening to Bluetooth).
