Dan from Chicago, IL on 6/23/2025
Speaker stands are ideal height for my Bowers&Wilkins 805 D3's, sounds are amazing now. The stands were easy to assemble, with the balancing tools (wrench, level) a huge plus. Sand was added, and made for a few clumsy messes, but nothing that couldn't be cleaned easily; on the positive, adding sand provides much more stability overall. Would recommend stands.

Heft and High Quality!
Matt from JACKSONVILLE, FL on 6/15/2025
These stands are very well made and heavy. Their weighty and quality construction provides surety that they are up for the job. Nice touches include the leveling tool, two sizes of plates with pads, two types of feet, and bags that can be filled to add weight to the stand. They work perfectly with my JBL 240 bookshelf speakers.

Meets all the requirements for solid stands
Jack from Springfield, OH on 1/21/2025
I needed something with a big top plate for my KEF Q Concerto Metas and these were about the best option out there for the price. There aren't very many other stands that offer a top plate that large. They're sturdy and substantially heavy, even without being filled. This is my second pair of Kanto Stands and I may be in for another.
Pros: Heavy, sturdy, large plate size, fillable, cable management
Cons: None

Kanto SX26
Robert from Oxford, MS on 1/7/2025
Rock solid stands that are elegant, understated and easy to assemble. They hit the sweet spot between inexpensive stands that are not as heavy and well constructed and over priced stands that aren't necessarily any better quality. They are sturdy and solid and although I bought sand to add to the stands it wasn't needed.
Pros: They look more expensive than they are, heavy, solid, easy to assemble and come with 'sand bags' if you want to make them even more solid.
Cons: My only critique is they are designed for the speaker cable to enter the column through a hole underneath the stand base and exit through a cutout at the top of the column. My speaker cables are about 3/4" in diameter and too thick to fit under the base of the stands without making the stands wobble. I think Kanto should make the stands with a 1-1.5" hole at the bottom of the wire chamber rather than having the cable pass under the base to enter the chamber.

Premium, Affordable Speaker Stands
Christopher from Mokena, IL on 1/2/2025
Heavy duty bookshelf speaker stands. The hardware included is premium and installation was super simple. Even included fillable bags for the inside of the speaker stands so you can add whatever weight/deadening material you choose.
Pros: Heavy duty, premium steel, premium hardware, simple installation, fillable bags included.
Cons: Base could be slightly wider or carpet spikes could be placed wider on the base for even more stability on carpet.

A very well made good looking solid stand. Easy to assemble. Excellent quick service and delivery by Crutchfield. A great value.
Pros: Easy assembly. Accommodates various sizes due to the supplied top plates. Very inert once filled with sand. Simple to install supplied spikes.

Great stand for all size speakers
Brent from Adams, TN on 10/29/2024
I purchased some new speakers that are large and weigh 31lbs, so I needed a sturdy stand. These had the largest top plate I could find. Assembly was easy. I filled them with inert material (fancy silica) and they are rock steady. They include a foam pad for the top plate which is nice. Everything is very stable and well constructed.
Pros: Perfect for large and heavy bookshelf speakers
Cons: None

The last speaker
Paul from Milwaukee, WI on 9/10/2024
The best speaker stands I've ever used by far. Quality throughout. Exceptionally stable even before loading them with sand or shot in the included sealable pouches. Internal cable routing system is straightforward. And the included carpet spikes that can be adjusted from the top to easily level the stand in place are brilliant! What other manufacturer includes 2 sets of top plates so you can safely mount any of a wide range of bookshelf speakers, regardless of footprint. Finally, the included, polished metal pucks for protecting wood floors are classy. Kanto has thought of everything.

Order from Crutchfield and you will be very pleased with the Kanto SX2
The Kanto SX26 are nicely designed, and well-built speaker stands. I like the aesthetics - clean lines, good proportions, but that is subjective. I purchased the stands in white. I inspected all the parts upon arrival except the last floor plate in the bottom of the box. Everything was in perfect condition, but as I began assembly of the last stand the bottom plate was rusted with an outline of a rectangle. I could tell this happened during manufacturing. I called Crutchfield and the customer service person was exceptional at addressing my issue with 2 different options. I chose just to have them send the bottom plate instead of a "return and replace" option even though they said the option I chose may take longer; up-to 2 to 3 weeks for the part. Wow, talk about under promise and over deliver. The replacement part arrived within 3 days of the phone call. The replacement was in perfect condition. Buy from Crutchfield and you will be very pleased with the Kanto SX26. The bottom plate for the stand is heavy. Very Heavy. Everything fit together with precision and all holes matched up with no deviation. I really like the leveling system on the spikes/ floor pucks. The ability to level the speaker stand with the included allen wrench and bubble level from the top of the bottom plate makes it a breeze. I'm starting to remodel my office, stands will work perfectly in the new scheme.(High on wife approval rating as well.) Five stars for both the Kanto SX26 and Crutchfield's service.
Pros: Solid, quality construction, and easy to adjust.
Cons: None so far

Great stand, no Tuk bolt on?
Werner from West Bloomfield, MI on 4/17/2024
High quality construction, nice packaging, and certainly does the trick for holding my Kanto Tuk speakers at the correct listening height and looks great while doing it. Minus 0.5 stars for no method provided to attach the flagship Tuk speakers directly to the top plate with a bracket despite there being holes in the top for other speakers? Maybe I'm missing something. Kanto's smaller speakers have a method to directly attach the Tuks to the stands. I have the short stands as well for my desk.
Pros: Stable, good construction, quality machining and materials, looks great.
Cons: No way to directly bolt on Tuk flagships.

Francesco from Los Angeles, CA on 1/15/2024
Good stands, I'm using them with KEF R3s and they are sturdy enough. The bolt holes don't align with the ones of KEFs, but for approximately half the price of the original KEF S3 stands I cannot complain.

Great product. Well done in many ways.
Daniel from LONE TREE, CO on 12/8/2023
Impressive Quality. The packaging was incredible. Great presentation. Instructions were very clear too. Nice touches like the different size top plate, optional stick on pads, easily adjustable height of each foot and a little level to make sure everything is just right. This is just a well designed and thought out product. You can spend less, but I doubt you can even remotely match the quality here with a budget item. You will not be disappointed when you get these. I do agree with other reviewers that no one is going to be wowed by the looks. They are quite plain looking, but not ugly at all. I have a pair of Revel M106 speakers on them. I used little rubber 3m bumpers to isolate the speaker from the stand and they worked well. I actually noticed a little reduction in some resonant low frequencies I was hearing with my old (taller) stands. I think the decoupling from the stand along with the increased mass and lower height actually made a difference that I was not really expecting. Don't underestimate the improvement of getting those tweeters at ear level. It helps!
Pros: packaging, instructions, overall quality, features, mass.
Cons: plain looks

Great Stand for SVS Ultra Bookshelf Speakers
Craig from WESLEY CHAPEL, FL on 6/8/2023
I had a pair of Linton stands I used for a previous pair of tall speakers. I added 6 inches of acoustic foam to raise the SVS Ultra Bookshelf speakers, 22 inches floor to base. From the pictures you can see the Linton side-by-side with the Kanto stands. There is just a 2" height difference, and I wanted the extra height, so I purchased the Kanto stands. The Kanto stands are beefy, heavy and perfect for the SVS Ultras. The larger top plate fully supports the Ultras. I cannot say enough about the quality of the Kanto stands. Even the spiked feet are adjustable from the top of the bottom plate. Because the stands are on carpet, the spikes sink in (good) but that prevents you from using the built-in cable channel that can only be accessed from the bottom. I use black cable covers so I don't care. Now for the great part, the Ultras never sounded so incredible. I know raising the speakers 2 inches better positioned the tweeters to the listener, but I did not expect such a dynamic change in the sound profile. I don't know if the combination of the acoustic foam under the Ultras combined with the lower speaker height was inhibiting the Ultra's performance, so I reinstalled the Linton stands with the foam risers; the sound reverted back to less dynamic. Reinstalled the Kanto stands, and the great sound was back with improved dynamics, excellent imaging and center sound stage placement. The Kanto stands' product packaging is top notch and the fit and finish will not disappoint you.
Pros: Beefy, well built, excellent finish. Large and small top plate options. Well-proportioned for larger bookshelf speakers.
Cons: Cannot access built-in cable channel if on carpet.

Basic, Sturdy, Functional
Bryce from SAN ANGELO, TX on 5/27/2023
This is my first pair of speaker stands, so I have no point of reference from which to compare; however, these appear to me to be very well-made and solid - especially given the price I paid. They've held Klipsch R-50Ms, RP-600M IIs, and now PSB Imagine XBs without issue. I don't have any worries about the speakers falling.
Pros: Heavy, option to fill with sand/shot, come with padding to keep speaker off of metal surface
Cons: Not elegant? I'm not fancy so they work fine for me!

Good Speaker Stands
Eric from Zeeland, MI on 2/13/2023
These speaker stands are extremely well made. The two top-plate sizes will make it easier to mate with non-Kanto speakers. I use mine with a pair of Paradigm Premier 200B bookshelves and the large top-plate was just big enough for all four feet to make contact in the corners. The are easy to assemble, with all the holes in the parts lining up perfectly. Be careful when first lifting the shipping box, it's much heavier than it looks. I filled mine with sand (the included bags are nice) and now they are very heavy and I do not hear any ringing. The cable channel is large and helps keep things looking tidy.
Pros: Well made. Easy to Assemble Fillable
Cons: Very Heavy Not Very Stylish

Well made speaker stands
Martin from Los Angeles, CA on 2/1/2023
Overall great speaker stand. Well made, sturdy and heavy at the bottom. I already have a pair of Kanto SP32PL that I use for rear surround speakers and those are great so I knew these larger stands would have just as good of build quality. Deducting 1 star because I wish they came with alternate feet that would make it easier to move the stands around. The bottom plates are separate from the spikes so everytime I want to move the stands I have to replace to all the plates. Not a problem if you have carpet and use the spike feet only. Otherwise I am very happy with the stands for my Dynaudio Heritage Specials. A money saving alternative to the Dynaudio stand 20's. The open box special was a great deal too as it was just a damaged outer box. Everything inside was new and undamaged.
Pros: Build quality Heavy Easy assembly Relative good value
Cons: better feet options

Heavy Stands with Great Wire Management
Mark from Loveland, OH on 10/7/2022
The Kanto SX26 speaker stands are pretty darn heavy. I really like the two sizes for the top plates. I'm using the larger of the two, and they are sufficient for my Polk L200s. Probably the best feature of these stands is the hidden cable wire canal. It is a separate canal in the back of the legs. It is easy to feed the speaker wires through the canal, and it hides them well. Overall, I'm very glad I purchased these.

Top stands out there
Richard from Pflugerville, TX on 2/11/2022
Best stands out there. Huge room for wires to be run through the stand(some stands don't have this and I have no idea why, will look horrible otherwise). Comes with a bag for sand, filling a separate column. Super sturdy, I took the spikes off these and just have them siting on the floor with the built in pads. 2 different top surface areas included, if you have bigger speakers like mine, so more surface room. I also had upward firing Atmos on top, total weight 27 lbs. They work great and are incredibly sturdy. Using for back surrounds in 7.2.4 system.
Pros: Sturdy 2nd channel to run wire 2 top supports one smaller one bigger depending on speaker size.
Cons: Didn't like the spike and didn't need them for hardwood

Sturdy Modern Style - Great Customer Service
Paul from Hanover, NH on 1/1/2022
I loved these stands, I thought they looked great with their simple modern looks in our space. The extruded aluminum post and thick machined aluminum base inspired confidence that big happy dogs and rambunctious rug rats wouldn't knock my speakers off their stands. The set-screw style leveling feet, that could be accessed through the top of the base plate, were easy to use and quick to attain a perfectly stable mount. To secure my non-Kanto brand speakers without threaded mounting holes) the helpful customer service team at Kanto recommended I use Blu Tack, which I did and it worked very well to give me confidence that my speaker investment would be safe. Alas, the bookshelf speakers I researched and toiled over did not produce the sound I was looking to reproduce (with my amplifier). Likewise, interior decoration being a very subjective art form, my partner did not agree with my thoughts on placing speakers on stands in our space. Thankfully, Crutchfield is very understanding of the subjectivity of Hi-Fi audio and interior aesthetics and are taking back the speakers and stands. We are, instead, opting to splurge on floor speakers instead.
Pros: Sturdy, excellent craftsmanship, great packaging, easy adjustment, confidence inspiring.
Cons: No cons as far as I am concerned, though aesthetics are subjective.
