The ATM System 3E is an ideal way to air-cool components in a compact space, such as an enclosed cabinet or piece of bedroom furniture. For maximum airflow, mount the two fans in opposite corners of the cabinet, with one blowing out and the other blowing in. (Note: each fan connects to a power harness with an 8" lead.)
Place the thermal probe on your hottest-running component. Plug the system's AC adapter into a power source, and you're set.
The probe automatically activates the fans when the temperature reaches 90°, pulling cooling air across your component.

Features
Overview: The ATM System 3E fan system is designed to ventilate and cool electronics in smaller installations, such as small electronics cases, enclosed shelves, or a home theater equipment cabinet.
Fans: The System 3E includes two 80mm (3.125" x 3.125" x 1") fans that can be used to either exhaust hot air from an enclosure or feed cool air into it. They can even be configured with one fan feeding cool air in while the other exhausts it out. If both are used in the same location, a corresponding vent should also be installed at the opposite end for proper air flow through the enclosure. Each fan is capable of maintaining approximately 15 CFM (cubic feet per minute) air flow, while generating very little noise. This is ideal for an enclosure with approximately 10-12 cu. ft. of internal air space. Each fan includes an attached 8" power harness that plugs into the included fan controller module.
Thermo-sensing: An attached thermal probe is included for automatically activating the fan system when the temperature surpasses the set amount (approximately 88-90˚F). The probe should be placed over top of the hottest area of the equipment and plugs into the fan controller module, along with both fans. When power is applied to the controller module, the green LED will light. When the temperature gets high enough to activate the fans, the red LED on the controller module will light. The fan controller also includes mounting holes for attaching it to the inside or backside of a cabinet or rack space.
