Set up with: Golden Ear Aon 3's, Definitive Technology Mythos 10 center channel, Definitive Technology ProMonitor 1000's surround. Crossover set at 65 Hz. Home Theater: Phenomenal! CD's: Phenomenal! Streamed Music: Phenomenal! Every note on a 5-String Bass: clean , deep, tight, accurate, without distortion! No muddiness! Incredibly detailed bass! Linear response down to 20 Hz!
Pros: Compact Tremendous Output Produces Deep, Punchy, Accurate Bass

Sonic quality

. ordered a Force Field 40, but the architectural committee (wife) determined that the Force Field 40 was too big. Hence the Force Field 30. The exchange process was outstanding! We are using the Force Field 30 to augment the bass from my Golden Ear 8000 ceiling speakers (see my review for the Golden Ear 8000 speakers).
Pros: Great addition for ceiling speakers. Includes left and right channel RCA jacks from pre-out receiver for stereo listening. Exchange was timely and pain free.

Great for music and movies

I bought this to replace my 500W Cambridge sub that went TU after more than 10 years. I am still using my Cambridge Newton front and rear speakers in my 5.1 surround sound setup that I use for my music recording studio as well as home theater. The sound is tight on music, and earth shaking when watching movies. I absolutely love it.

Bought this for my home office setup. I paired this with Paradigm Persona B bookshelf speakers and a McIntosh MHA150. I was tempted to go with the more powerful and larger Force 40. No need.... This sub really hits. Granted I am very close to it, but I had to lower the power on this to about 20% to reduce the vibrations of items in my office. :) For music, this is very clean, hard hitting and accurate. You will not be disappointed.
