The good and the not-so-good
Jeffrey from Indianapolis, IN on 2/24/2024
Imagine my surprise in unpacking the box to find it's a multi-purpose kit designed to fit all 3 versions of GoldenEar satellite speakers. I'm sure it's more convenient and cost effective for GoldenEar to have manufactured but adds several pounds to the shipping weight. Moreover, does it save the consumer anything? And it seems like a waste of resources in our eco-conscious age. Be forewarned that the single sheet assembly diagram doesn't make mis-assembly obvious. My own anxiety resulted in twice having to start over. The stands are elegant and function well. The ability to hide the wires inside the shaft is a nice touch, but the secondary mounting screw is barely long enough to enable its flanged nut to engage the holding slot.

Perfect for the SuperSat 3s!
Keith from East Islip, NY on 7/3/2023
I've purchased two sets of these stands to use for my SuperSat 3 surround speakers and I love the way they look and hold the speakers! They are very sturdy with their solid, tempered glass base and it's not too difficult to run the speaker cable inside of them (which is a feature I love also)! My only negative is that the most recent pair I purchased came with a bolt that was "irregular" (it was shorter than it was supposed to be) but it was an easy and cheap fix at the hardware store.
Pros: Sturdy, easy to assemble, hides speaker cables, good looking with GoldenEar speakers
Cons: Wish they were a little less expensive but that applies to everything nowadays

GoldenEar SuperStands

Got these to mount a pair of SuperSat 3s. They are stable, sleek, and well machined. Mind the possible sharpish edges when routing speaker wire through the integrated cable management channels.
