Awesome portabl power station!

I thought I would post a review of this since I have experienced two power outages since purchasing it. The home that I live in experiences regular power outages from falling trees and larger branches. I used the C1000X to power my wife's CPAP machine, the refrigerator, and the stand-up freezer overnight. I also use an Emporia breaker panel energy monitor, so I know about how many kWh each appliance uses in 24 hours. I also purchased the BP1000, so I have about 2 kWh of energy. I have a noisy generator (6,250 watts) and decided to get this portable energy station as a quiet source of power for critical overnight stuff so as not to be a nuisance to my neighbors. It works so well that I plan to get more! The app is ok. You can change a few settings, such as the charging rate, in case you plug it into a circuit that is already heavily loaded and maybe you can get away with 400 watts for charging (can be adjusted in 100 watt increments from 200 to 1000 watts) without tripping a breaker, for example. You can find your device under the devices tap. You can connect via Bluetooth, or if at home you can connect via Wi-Fi. You have to push the phone with wireless signal button to keep Wi-Fi on. If you need a quiet source of backup power, this little guy can be a great tool to have! I highly recommend this portable battery backup!
Pros: Outlets can handle 1800 watts (2400 watts surge) for higher power draw appliances. Easy to use. Can recharge with solar (600 watts). Expandable capacity with extra battery (BP1000). Portable, not too heavy. Can be used a s a UPS (20ms switchover) for computers and other sensitive electronic devices. Has a pure sine wave inverter.
Cons: Cost! These portable power stations are not the cheapest, but for specific use cases, they work well! Solar recharging is limited to 60 volts max which can be a limiting factor if you use other solar panels than the ones supplied by Anker with XT-60 connectors.

More Power to You

Very well packaged. Unit arrived with no damage. Very well built. I would rely on this during a power outage. This is "smart". App integration is very good. Bought on sale and consider this a great deal! Never had a bad experience shopping with Crutchfield.
Pros: Large battery capacity for the price. App integration. Solar charging capable.
Cons: May be heavy for some.
