Waterproof: (IPX7-Rated): The Soundcore Motion X500 offers a rugged waterproof construction with an ABS exterior, metal grille, and aluminum handle. The IPX7 certification means the X500 speaker is waterproof and can within submersion in water up to 1 meter (3') for up to 30 minutes. The integrated handle features a tactile grooved design for a comfortable grip to make it easy to carry around with you.

40W (Peak) Speaker System: The Soundcore Motion X500 employs a 3-driver speaker system powered by a built-in 40W (Peak) amplifier to deliver stereo sound all around you. The 3-driver array consists of two front-firing, full-range cone drivers for stereo sound and one up-firing dome tweeter that adds an extra dimension to your music. The speaker system produces rich, detailed sound with ultra-wide frequency response range up to 40kHz (max).

• Equalizer with Ambient Light: The Soundcore Motion X500 offers 3 preset EQ modes - Spatial Signature, Spatial Dynamic, & Bass Boost. The two Spatial Audio modes place sound all around you to create an immersive listening experience, while the Bass Boos mode enhances the speaker system's bass response. The ambient light on top of the top of the Motion X500 will light up a specific color when choosing a particular EQ preset.
• TWS (True Wireless Stereo): Connect two Motion X500 speakers via TWS for an expanded soundstage with even more immersive spatial audio. TWS stands for True Wireless Stereo and allows two identical speakers (such as the Motion X500) to play stereo
  sound wirelessly via Bluetooth. When you have two Motion X500 speakers paired via Bluetooth at the same time, the primary speaker supports the left channel, while the secondary speaker supports the right channel.

Built-In Bluetooth 5.3: The Soundcore Motion X500 offers built-in Bluetooth 5.3 with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP) and control (AVRCP). You'll be able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer to the Motion X500 speaker. You'll also be able to control basic playback functions such as Play/Pause and Volume Up/Down. Advanced music playback control and song/artist/album information display will still need to be done from your Bluetooth-source device. You can pair multiple Bluetooth source devices with the Motion X500, but only one source device can be connected and used for playback at a time. Each time the speaker is powered on, it will automatically connect to your last connected Bluetooth source device within wireless range. The Motion X500 has an extended Bluetooth wireless range off approximately 328' (100m).

• SBC: The SBC (Sub-Band Coding) is Bluetooth's standard audio codec that is universally compatible with all Bluetooth-enable devices. SBC supports up to 320kbps.
• AAC: AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) is a step-up from Bluetooth's standard SBC codec and is Apple's standard audio code. AAC supports up to 250kbps.
• LDAC: LDAC is a Bluetooth encoding format that can transmit 3x the amount of data of the ordinary SBC Bluetooth codec. LDAC supports Hi-Res audio for superior sound quality that retains more audio detail. LDAC only works on devices running Android 8.0 or above and does not work on iPhone.

Top-Panel Controls: Top-panel controls include Power On/Off, Bluetooth Pairing, Volume Up/Down, Play/Pause, and EQ.

Soundcore App: The Soundcore app (for Apple iOS and Android OS) turns your compatible smartphone or table device into a wireless remote control for the Motion X500 speaker system. The Soundcore app communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth between your compatible mobile device and the Motion X500.

• Voice Prompt: From the app, you can mute or restore the voice prompt while powering on/off.
• Volume Control: From the Soundcore app you an adjust the volume level of the Motion X500 speaker.
• EQ Settings: There are various preset EQ settings you can choose from in the app to optimize your experience while enjoying different music genres.
• Auto Power Off: You can customize an auto-power off time.
• Battery Status: The app will indicate the remaining battery level of the Motion X500 speaker.
• Product Information: The Soundcore app provides the speaker's product name and software version.
• Firmware Update: Firmware updates can be done through the Soundcore app.

Rechargeable Battery: The Soundcore Motion X500 is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery (4900mAh/7.3V) that provides up to 12 hours of music playback. The battery can be recharged using the included 2' USB-C cable and an optional USB-C/AC wall charger (not included and sold separately). It takes approximately 6 hours to fully charge the battery using a 5V//3A (15W) USB-C/AC wall charger (sold separately).

Auto Standby: The Soundcore Motion X500 will automatically power off after 20 minutes of no audio signal or operation. You can customize an auto standby time within the Soundcore app.
