Overview: The eufy Baby Monitor E21 (T8354) lets you keep an eye on your little one at any time. The system includes a tilting, panning 4K camera and a large 5", battery-powered 720p monitor display. The camera and monitor connect via a private wireless signal with a range of up to 1000 feet. It can also connect to your home's Wi-Fi network, allowing you to view your child on your smartphone or tablet via the eufy Baby app (requires iOS 11.0 or later, or Android 5.0 and up). The Baby Monitor E21 comes with power adapters and USB power cables for the camera, monitor, and monitor charging stand, a flexible cot mount, and a wall mount for the camera.
Camera: The baby camera (T8354) produces sharp 4K color video with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, and clear two-way audio from anywhere in your home. The camera can pan side-to-side up to 330° and tilt up and down up to 60° to give you whole-room coverage. Its 8x zoom can be controlled on the monitor to let you get a closer look. The camera can be powered by its built-in 5000mAh rechargeable battery or via the included USB AC adapter (5V-2A) and 3-meter USB cable. On a fully charged battery, the camera has an estimated run time of 9 hours (5.5 hours with Night Vision enabled). The camera can be placed on a table or shelf, mounted to the crib via the included crib mount, or wall/ceiling mounted with the included wall mount.
Night Vision: The E21 camera has a selectable Night Vision mode. When set to Auto, the camera will adjust to the light conditions in the room. The monitor will display color video in daylight, but when the light in the room gets dark, the video will change to monochrome (Night Vision). If Night Vision is disabled, the monitor will not switch from the daylight color, even when the room gets dark. It is recommended that Night Vision be set to On for most situations.
Local Recording: The camera is equipped with a slot for a microSD card to store your recordings. The camera will accept microSD cards up to 128 GB and a speed rating of at least Class 10.
Temperature Monitoring: The Baby Monitor camera has a temperature sensor on a short pigtail. The current temperature of the room is displayed on the monitor.
Two-way Audio: Both the camera and monitor have built-in microphones and speakers, and allow you to hear your baby's cry or to communicate with your baby from the monitor.
White Noise Generator: The Baby Monitor E21 offers a white noise generator that will play a variety of sounds designed to lull your baby to sleep. Selections can be made in the Monitor Menu, and include Forest, Cricket, Rain, Streams, etc. You can also control the White Noise Generator in the eufy Baby app.
Wi-Fi Switch: The camera has a switch that can turn on or turn off the Wi-Fi connection. When it is on, the camera connects to your router, allowing you to view the livestream on the eufy Baby app on your smartphone or tablet. For a more private connection, you can turn the Wi-Fi off and view the video solely on the monitor.
Monitor: The Baby Monitor (T8353) has a 5" LCD screen (720p) with a rechargeable battery that lets you carry it around with you anywhere in the house. On-board controls let you tilt and pan the camera and zoom in to focus the camera where you want. The menu offers controls over Brightness, Alert Settings, Event Viewing, White Noise Generator, and Camera Settings. The monitor can operate continuously on AC power with the included USB power adapter and 1-meter USB cable, or run it for about 12 hours on battery power. You can connect an additional camera to the monitor and view two simultaneous feeds in split screen.
Noise Reduction: The Baby Monitor E21 comes with active noise reduction technology that reduces background noise by 20dB, including fans or AC units, to hear your baby more clearer.
Alerts: The baby monitor can alert you if anything is out of the ordinary. Alerts include loud noises, baby cries, and room temperature changes. The audio sensitivity for cry and noise detection can be adjusted with five different levels. You can also adjust the interval of push notifications to avoid frequent disturbances.
