Overview: The eufy Security eufyCam S3 Pro 2-Cam Kit (T88921W1) includes two compact security cameras and the HomeBase 3. The camera produces detailed 4K video, and has an integrated solar panel that keeps the battery charged. In addition, a separate solar panel charger is included, in case one of the cameras cannot be placed in direct sunlight. The cameras have no onboard storage, however, the HomeBase 3 has a built-in 16 GB eMMC (embedded MultiMediaCard). If you need more storage, you can add a 2.5-inch hard disk drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) that uses a SATA interface. The dimensions of the cameras and HomeBase 3 are:

Camera Specifications: The eufyCam S3 Pro camera (T8162) can shoot stunning 4K video (3840 x 2160). The camera lens has a bright F1.0 aperture and a wide 135° viewing angle (112° Horizontal x 60° Vertical). It is equipped with a 1/1.8" Stacked CMOS image sensor, with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and an 8x digital zoom. With built-in MaxColor Vision technology, the camera provides exceptionally detailed color images, even in low-light conditions. The rugged camera is certified with IP67 weatherproof protection. It is able to withstand rain, snow, wind, dust, and extreme temperatures.

Night Vision / Adaptive Spotlight: When it gets dark, the S3 Pro gives you multiple night vision options so you can identify faces and read license plates from up to 30 feet away. As mentioned above, MaxColor Vision mode, along with the camera's wide open aperture and image sensor, provides full color images in the available light. The Adaptive Spotlight mode utilizes the motion-triggered LEDs beside the lens to illuminate your subject for clear color images at night. The brightness of the spotlight is automatically adjusted to achieve an optimal picture. If there is not enough ambient light for color images, Infrared Night Vision allows you to record video in black-and-white with the camera's built-in infrared LEDs.

Motion Detection: When the eufyCam S3 Pro detects motion, it automatically starts a video recording and sends an alert to your phone through the eufy Security app. The camera uses a combination of radar and passive IR (PIR) sensors to detect human and vehicle movements. Not only does it provide coverage up to 40 feet away, but the increased accuracy reduces false alerts by 99%. You can customize specific Security Zones across a 120° field of view so you receive alerts only for activity within the zone.

24/7 Smart Snapshot: You can keep an eye on your home with 24/7 Smart Snapshot. When enabled (in the eufy Security app), 24/7 Smart Snapshot captures a series of photo snapshots on a periodic basis throughout the day and at night. In the app, you can simply swipe through the images to see what has been happening between recording events.

Two-way Audio: The camera features dual microphones to pick up voices up to 26 feet away, allowing you to have two-way interactions with delivery persons, visitors, or intruders in real-time through the eufy Security app. AI noise reductions make the audio clear and audible. The built-in speaker not only plays your voice through the camera, but also doubles as a 100dB security siren, triggered remotely from the app.

SolarPlus™ 2.0: The eufyCam S3 Pro is equipped with a 13,000 mAh battery which powers the camera for months on a single charge. You should initially charge the camera battery using the included USB cable and a 5V/2A USB charging port. The camera takes about 8 to 10 hours to charge fully. On the top of the camera is an integrated 1.962" x 5.205" solar panel that keeps the battery charged with only 1 hour of direct sunlight daily. In optimal sunlight, the panel can collect and store 450 to 900mAh of solar energy per day. The solar panel can effectively charge on an overcast day, or in partial shade, and will start charging with only 2500 lx of light. The efficient eufyCam S3 Pro uses an average of 100 to 200mAh over a 24-hour period. If a camera is placed in an area without sufficient sunlight, you can use the included Solar Panel 3W to provide enough solar power to keep the camera charged.

Mounting: The eufyCam S3 Pro should be mounted between 7 and 10 feet above the ground in a location that can provide at least 2 hours of direct sunlight per day. The screw-on mounting bracket is adjustable. Screw positioning stickers are provided for both cameras and the solar panel. The cameras have an IP67 rating to withstand all types of weather, and can operate in temperatures between -14°F and 113°F (-10°C to 45°C).

HomeBase 3: HomeBase S380 (HomeBase 3) is the hub for eufy Security systems, letting you connect up to 16 cameras and 34 sensors. It comes with a built-in 16 GB eMMC (embedded MultiMediaCard) for storing your video clips. It can be expanded up to 16 TB by adding a 2.5-inch hard disk drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) that uses a SATA interface. HomeBase 3 provides enhanced features, such as Face Recognition, BionicMind AI, and Cross-Camera Tracking.

Security: HomeBase 3 uses military-grade AES-128 + RSA-1024 encryption to keep your videos safe and private. HomeBase 3's Edge Ecosystem pulls together videos from all of your security devices, and constantly analyzes and catalogs the data without uploading anything to the cloud.

Wireless Communication: HomeBase 3 communicates with its compatible devices via Sub-1G (866 MHz band) which offers longer range than Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. HomeBase 3 can connect to your home network via Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps) or Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz).

USB Ports: HomeBase 3 has two USB Type A ports on the back that can be used for charging devices and data backup through a USB drive. USB Port 1 (top) is USB 3.0-compatible and has an output of 5V-2.4A, while Port 2 (bottom) has an output of 5V-0.7A.

eufy Security App: The eufy Security app (iOS 13.0+, Android 8.0+) lets you view live video from your smartphone or tablet, plus engage the visitor or intruder through two-way audio. You can use the app to configure each camera and organize your video clips. The eufyCam S3 Pro can also be viewed on a web portal instead of your phone, on PCs (Windows 10 or 11), and on Macs running macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 chip.

Voice Assistants: The eufyCam S3 Pro can be connected to Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant so you hear the audio alerts anywhere in your home. Smart displays, such as the Google Nest Hub or the Amazon Echo Show, can "show (me) the back yard" when asked by voice command, letting you view live video from the eufyCam. The eufyCam S3 Pro and HomeBase 3 are compatible with Apple HomeKit, so you can view your videos on Apple TV and other compatible devices.
