Pangea Audio Mega Feet: Pangea Audio Mega Feet are made specifically for source components like power amps, integrated amplifeirs AV receivers, stereo recevers, and other heavier components. Pangea feet help keep the muddying effects of vibration out of your signal chain, letting you enjoy cleaner, purer audio and video. Pangea Audio's designers worked with the engineers at Sorbothane to create the unique shape of Mega Feet. The feet are stable and firm under the weight of an audio component without being too rigid to compromise performance.

Sorbothane Visco-Elastic Polymer: Audiophiles around the world recognize Sorbothane as the leading material for absorbing and canceling vibrations that can adversely affect audio and video performance. Sorbothane is a visco-elastic polymer. Although it's a solid, it behaves like a liquid in relationship to vibrations. Vibrations excite the loose bonds between the Sorbothane molecules, causing them to rub against each other and change the vibration energy into quickly dissipated heat energy.

Weight Capacity: Pangea Sorbothane feet have an optimum weight range where they are most effective in absorbing and canceling vibrations. Once the maximum weight is exceeded, the material is no longer effective unless more Pangea Sorbothane feet are added. The recommended weight range for a set of four Mega Feet is 40 to 80 lbs per set set, making Mega perfect for larger components such as amplifiers.

Installation: For best results, place the feet directly under the bottom of the component's chassis with the "P" on top of the foot pointing downward for maximum contact with the component chassis. Do not place the feet directly on fine wood or other finishes. Rather, place the supplied clear plastic discs under the feet to protect the mounting surface. Each foot measures 2.0" (diameter) x 1.4375" (height). This package contains a total of 4 feet.
